We live in a Tudor style home in the same area as this house... we LOVE the character and uniqueness of the older homes in our neighborhood... ty for the video 🇺🇲
This is a beautiful house. I love individual rooms like this house has. It definitely needs a full cleaning throughout, then updating in some rooms, remove old carpet, etc..but it has good bones. The living room, dining, kitchen, and most first floor are great. Love a big eat in kitchen! Love all the windows. The mud room & laundry room are great spaces too. The third floor is cool, but needs some work to make into a bedroom or game room. If someone has the money to clean & update this house would become a beautiful home! Thank you!
Im so glad I found your channel, it's so nice to see walkthroughs vs just looking at pictures. This house is amazing I love all the different spaces. This will be an incredible house once it's brought back to it's glory.
@@claudinemeharey3965 thank you! I started doing these walkthroughs because they are really useful for people who are relocating. I want to show everything which I feel a quick fly through or pictures alone doesn’t really give you.
I was in Butler, recently, and there are a lot of beautiful old brick homes. This one needs to be freshened up a bit, but even the newest homes have features that I would change!
A kitchen island would look nice in the kitchen. Really nice house, needs a little TLC, the basement is nice and clean. The first bedroom and attic bedroom creeps me out lol, reminds me of something out of a horror movie lol.
Oh I think this is just an awesome house. I would not be afraid at all. The vibes felt really good. That top floor would be so set up for my grandkids with bunks in that cubby and games in the sitting area. The first bedroom would be my sewing/craft room. I could so see myself in this home. Thanks for sharing.
@@stellabella6839 it really is a very nice home. A little TLC wouldn’t hurt, although the first bedroom with the sink is a little creamy I would use that as my home office. I hope someone bought this home.
you may remember that you closed that door to the room right before the switchback staircase... the one with the fireplace in it... and it was open when you came back down the stairs.... yikes!!
I thought I was the only one who seen that. The one that got me when she went to another home and she was in the back yard the gate closed on her. She played it off there was no wind blowing. I played that part over and over. She have been in many hunted houses 😂 but yes I did see that
this house is GREAT! except for the laundry room, I don't see any updating that needs to be done ASAP... even that green bathroom is rather charming.... What a steal!
I’m thinking that where the washroom is now might have been the original dining room with the swinging door off of the kitchen and with, it looks like, the original kitchen cabinets. Especially since it comes off of the foyer. The now dining room was probably a carbon copy of the office/sunroom at the front of the house. The “bedroom” with the fireplace was most certainly the study/den. Great house. P.S. It’s missing the Tudor embellishments on the front facade.
I think you are correct about the dining room being once where the laundry is now. There are a few different tudor styles. This is more a French style not a English style or Tudor revival style. With the french style you don't typically see the half-timbering that a lot of people associate with tudor homes.
If it's got a boiler shouldn't there be a tank for the oil? I'm West Texas where we have central heat and air, or electric or gas space heaters and/or window air conditioning. Is there such a thing as a natural gas boiler?

What happened to all of the beautiful trees that used to line Mckean St.? Looks very bland now. Not as nice without all the trees lining the street. Sad.

This house is creepy! I would purchase this and rent out the bedrooms. I could not see myself living here alone.

If you look carefully you can see that it's been open the whole time it's just the angle I had to look a few times to see that

Thank you! My favorite room is the office on the first floor. Love the windows and view of the pretty front yard.
Nice house, needs some TLC. I would use the third floor as the primary suite. I'm surprised the house doesn't have HVAC.
I think I would personally use the 3rd floor as the primary as well with some more lighting.
It looks like the electrical panel is labeled-there's a taped-on list on the cover 😊
Looks like a mother's in law suite 😊

What is the estimated value of this house?
How much is the price and is this near drum pa. Thanks

Price?
It's under contract and closing in a few days, but it was listed at $299k.
House for days
@@andreamervis6413 I know that’s why this video is on the longer side. I kept finding rooms.😉
Storage room in the basement with the latch is creepy. What are you putting in there you don't want to get out?
I have to admit I opened that door slowly to make sure nothing was hiding.

Kind of a shame that alot of the Tudor features have been remodeled and painted. The den is the nicest room in the house.
Needs lots of work.
