It sounds like the NES version of _Former Dawn_ will be using a technique similar to memory paging on 32 bit computers so that it can address more information than it would normally be able to by switching out sections of the game that are not needed currently with whatever section is needed now, so that it doesn't go beyond the NES limit at any one time.
Wow, lots of cool looking titles here. Photogeist Albums, Cattle Country, Dobbel Dungeon, and Former Dawn seem particularly interesting to me. Great list!
ok Decktamer, the monsters look horribly awesome, seriously these character designs! I like it, and Former Dawn, I had the same hype as during the announcement of Sea of Stars, I hope it will be awesome 😁
I want to let you know I like how you put a static image when saying the title of another game. Compared to how you have done it in the past I think this works best.
I feel there are way too many life sim indie games nowadays after Stardew Valleys success all those years ago, but Cattle Country appeals to me for some reason.
At 1:08 I was looking at my slicer for my 3D printer and I heard something so completely different that has to do with a certain author's book and if you know what I'm talking about you'll understand what made me spit water out
I'll wait until Former Dawn gets a release on any storefronts. For how good it'd supposedly look on an NES and only being on Kickstarter it could very well be a grift, as we've seen our fair share of before, specially on KS.
@@HejC8xmRICWgUCj1dhPvhTFX it's unfortunate that there are enough that either don't leave ea or have a massive (negative) change at full release, black sky land, that make it so i don't want to waste my money on anything else until full release. It's a shame because games like Witchfire or Monomyth look awesome to me but I'm so jaded i don't want to waste anymore money.
@@GameTimeWhy Very much agree. Last early access game I bought was Shadows of Doubt. Haven't played it yet (endless backlog, y'know how it goes) but I've read recent reviews and looks like I'll be waiting a good while longer before I finally install it and give it a go. Funnily enough I played the demo for Monomyth recently and *LOVED IT,* even it it was a bit janky and I don't normally tend to go for that genre. Reminded me of Arx Fatalis gameplay-wise and Wheel of Time graphics-wise. But I'm waiting anyways. Checked a dev post a day or two ago and it seems like it has a loooong way ahead.
@HejC8xmRICWgUCj1dhPvhTFX yeah monomyth Dev said one year to finish but i don't see how that's possible when it's just the one guy. I guess we will see. Although i think he will get it done faster than exanima.
im the dev of Punch the Garden! thank you so much for featuring my game :) i made it to clemmy's videos!
Good looking game sir! Great job!
@@pc4135 thank you! 😆
Thanks so much for including Eighthwell in this!
No problem!
14:34 i can't wait to zap aliens and get zapped by aliens
🎉
Former dawn looks ridiculously good for a Nes game!
Former dawn looks amazing, love anything 8bit and modern. Can't find it on steam though so I hope it's published there eventually
But it’s 16 bit
Not a fan of Wallace and gromit? Banned from UA-cam
Sacrilege! Heresy! 🔥
Seriously. I was going to say the same.
Thank you for keeping on these videos and sharing word about all them, man.
I want to see more nes game releases. For retro gaming, this is awesome.
former dawn holy shit , def deserved the number 1 spot , technical wizardry indeed
11:03 I love how mystical this game looks 🪄
Haneda looks so much like Tower Fortress by Nitrome/Keybol. Like suspiciously close

Lots of interesting titles! Great work everyone!
Thanks for watching!
Oddly I think Dobbel Dungeon has me the most curious.
Former Dawn is a cool project, definitely not using old NES tech though since I'm pretty sure they're in the KB range for capacity. Still a neat idea

Found a couple of gems in this one I hadn’t seen before! Thanks for the great list! 👏🏼
Man, so many gems on the horizon!
Yes!
Very curious about Former Dawn. Even more if anyone is going to attempt a performance comparison.
Darkenstein 3D and VERSEBREAK look great.
Ooh my day just got better (and my wishlist got longer)
OMG, Former Dawn looks amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Thanks my brother-
Yes!

Oh wow, I didn't realise Narita boy was in relation to Narita in Japan until we got Haneda girl.
MORE games from you today?? Heck yeah dude ✌🏼

It's also a big reason i don't do early access anymore.
@@GameTimeWhy same...

Photogeist albums might just get sued by Nintendo.
I have developed a disappointed sigh every time I hear 'deckbuilding.' Please game devs, move on, find a new trend.
“Rogue-lite” “Metroidvania” “Suvivor” “Souls-like”
“Inspired by doom”
Same with the horror genre too it's either inspired by silent hill or some mascot horror game we need more unique ideas
Try to find new ideas doesn't seem an easy task
Bro that’s tragic
First ;)
