I have a good suggestion for a cover it's called 'Lost Souls & Lifelines' by Future Sunsets. Although this band is fronted by the future Mr. Jaclyn Glenn. It's rather ironically basically about Jesus and more like a worship song. And it all fits neatly together given that this video is part of the saga started by Jimmy 'Mr Atheist' and Jaclyn herself. Presumably because they have no other topics to talk about because of the you know what. But I don't know if you want to stoop to their level. But I suppose as Christians we should turn the other cheek.

I don’t align with you and Paul’s religious beliefs, however, I believe everyone has a right to their own beliefs and boundaries. You shouldn’t have ever felt pressured to “go have sex” if you didn’t want to. That’s so icky. I’m sorry you were put in that situation.

  • @LizziesAnswers

I’m SO sorry this all happened to you!!! It is SHOCKING how you got dropped, but not surprising how much they were trying to force you to be sexual, this was eye-opening into the industry. It makes me SO sad seeing young artists overly sexualized and it’s SO good how strong you were with fighting back against them and standing up for your morals.

This was a great answer to the detractors and the curious. Sometimes when people choose morality and family over money and fame, others are confused. I am confused over their confusion. :0) Imagine coming back from a year long world tour, unlocking your 4000 square foot mansion, entering, turning on enough lights to see your echoing footsteps in your huge, empty house that you only visit a few times a year. My heart would be emptier than that house. That is not a home, not a life, not freedom, not joy. You chose Love. Not just a life with Paul, but Agape Love--eternal life with the Father. Yes! All I could think about when I would read those presumptuous comments was that viewers were watching a PERFORMANCE, not real life, but nevertheless, the commenters would write these back stories in their minds and then put them in the comments as if they were experts on your life and your relationship. Even I grew weary of those comments. I can only imagine how you felt. Anyway, thanks for addressing it.

Something about this story makes me mad. I’m a Christian singer, songwriter and producer, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard similar stories. Lately I’ve been learning about narcissists, and I’m starting to realize that narcissists do the same thing in the music industry as they do in relationships. They start off with the love bombing, but then things get pretty ugly and scary after you’re hooked and that phase is over.
One girl in particular I remember, we met at a music industry event. She came to my studio, but she was really shy about performing in front of people. So I told her I would only work with her if she committed to performing at some open mics. I wanted to know she was serious, and willing to take the steps necessary to develop as an artist. I wasn’t asking anything immoral or unreasonable. But she refused, so I didn’t work with her.
5 years later, I run into her again, and apparently she met a couple other producers at the same event we met at who offered her the world, flew her out to California, treated her like she was going to be the next big star. But then she told me horror stories about being abused, threatened with violence, pushed into being overly sexual. Scary stuff.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It might be fun for a little while, but it’s probably not worth it. Too many people watch too much TV and think the music industry is like winning the lottery when in reality it’s more like starting a business from scratch. It’s a lot of work, a lot of investment, and very little chance of success.

Sharing that story about the guys telling you to just get drunk and getting it over with struck such a chord with me! I was born and raised in Miami and this is literally the advice and the standards I have heard my whole life. I am considered so strange and even pitied for believing in Jesus and believing that living life in a biblical way is more freeing. I'm glad that God set you free from being in that constant environment and that you are able to display the joy and freedom that our found in the Lord. God gives us good gifts, He really does love us and there is so much joy and freedom to be found in Him.

This is so great to hear your story! I know it's not right that the label company dropped you when you got engaged. But it's really the best thing that could have happened. They were trying to push you in a direction you didn't want to go, and it's not like they probably would have let you out of the contract due to their incompatibility with your beliefs.
I can really see you as a worship leader, and as a Christian mentor to girls and young women. There are so many of us who grew up in a Christian home, but kind of a nominally Christian home. Like for me, my parents were divorced, dad was an atheist, and Mom was the most wonderful Mom in the world and found Jesus kind of late in her life. And I know that's not an unusual experience for young Christians, so it's great to have mentors. The videos you and Paul do together about Christian living are wonderful, and certainly a blessing to many.
I'll have to find your music playlist of your own music. And looking forward to you making more. God bless you both in all you do.

I had already largely pieced things together based on things you’ve said in the past, but it was good to get the full story and insight into that time in your life. I found your old videos a long time ago and was a little confused by some of them. You had a great voice, but I was trying to connect the dots from there to the present. I’m glad to hear you were not wanting to make some of those videos. I know a wonderful artist who has written a bunch of good songs, but has been told by a talent scout that she “isn’t marketable.” He liked her work, but the industry wants young people who can tour and be around for a long time. (She’s “well seasoned.”) Even the “christian music”industry isn’t about quality, scripture-based songs as much as it is about the money.

Tilda I suspect it’s in part because the lighting in cars is usually very bright but not direct, both of which make almost everybody look great. Also, there’s less cleaning up that needs to happen as compared to inside a house, and areas that are messy are easy to hide/not show when filming in a car.

Tbh I came from Mratheist's channel. I think listening to your pov is very important because all the rumours and stories going around are dangerous. I can't speak about your personal relationship with Paul of course and I do hope you're safe and happy as you say you are, but when it comes to your music, I think people are making a bigger deal out of it.
It's wrong to just analyse a person and make judgements about them from a few videos online. This happens with so many influencers and celebrities of course. And while the person making the video might not have meant it necessarily in a harmful way and I see why they made it, and the points raised in these videos can be good points, but they're applied to a real life person which i think makes it an issue because people watch the video thinking it's factual information and that they now know this person on the Internet, not realising its an actual human being and perhaps this has a harmful effect on them and their life.

Hey Morgan, I checked some of your covers on You Idol after this video. I just want to say I'm glad that you found something that you can stay true to who you are. People are deluded into thinking what they see on Music Videos are the real stuff. And become rly judgemental and controlling, calling themselves "fans." Meanwhile they keep making who you are, deciding if you are depressed or not, and not listening to you, you. That's why I dislike kpop fans and just fans in general, but mostly kpop since I used to stan kpop idols more. Its rly rare to find the fans who appreciate the person as the person and not the person that they see. God is working. He will lead you where He wants you to be. Glad you are being true to the markings of God's law in your heart.
Your voice is really amazing. 😭 Wish I knew my own talent
