What I found most interesting is the difference in time from 0 to 160. 0-100 is just 1.8 seconds difference. That doesn't play a huge role in everyday driving. But 0-160 is already 14 s difference. On the Autobahn, the non GTX seriously lacks "Überhohlprestige".
I think the best way to compare them is by the 0-150 time. 160 with the RWD takes just too long to lock at 160kph on gps, much quicker to 159 (162-163 on dash. You see the same with the GTX and 180, takes just too long to go on a clean 180 GPS value
Thanks for your video. Good stuff. Right now the ID.4 AWD, the Q4 E-Tron 50 and the Ioniq 5 AWD are my choices. But still have to wait since two of those are still not available in the USA. The ID.4 AWD is but very few and far between.
@@EV.Furkan wife and I have been doing that for a couple of days. We are leaning to the Ioniq, would have gone straight for that, but was offered a good price on the gtx at the dealer which made them more comparible. The Ioniq makes me smile, the gtx is the safe choice
In what way you want to compare? The ultimate version is not available to spec. 1st max with awd. Because currently only DCC is available with sport suspension and the 1st max doesn't have the sport suspension. And with DCC you don't really need the sport suspension as extra.
its continously within 1-3% of the consumption difference.. in real life thats maybe 3 to 12 km's if you drive at the same style. Thats for me the "same" when you consider the the amount of torque and power the GTX can deliver more when needed. If you are braking and accelerating every 5 km. sure the GTX will suffer 10-20% range hit, but normal highway driving its just too close to say GTX is consuming WAY more then the Pro. its just similiar, but the RWD wins it by 1-3% every time.
I noticed the instant consumption seemed to freeze during the earlier acceleration runs. I would expect to see 150KWh for the max, but saw 59. Must be another VW bug (a beetle? 😂).
This is not the end of the German Adventure.

Thank you very much for the comparison!

Good made and very helpful. Thank you for your work.
It make happy moment for me. Each of the auto is very good.
What good videos please that APP uses for the iD.4 with an IPHONE 12 or 13
I'm on a toss up between the Ioniq 5 ultimate awd and the gtx max. Can't actually decide
what is important for you. make a list. will make it easier

Over all in your opinion.. which is better GTX or the PRO?..

I think Volkswagen would dispute your persistence in stating the range is the same. It isn’t, and you haven’t tested it either.

It's 150 kW (power) vs 150 kwh/100km (battery capacity consumption per 100 km) choose wisely before expacting a nuclair power plant under the hood
