Even worse, the treatment of porters! They are the least paid, most exploited. They are abused, verbally and physically. They do everything in rags and raggedy footwear. They are expected to carry more than the load limit, suffering injuries that end their "career." We need to talk about the porters.
Yeah outsiders are like ohhh there are no jobs in this area so these climbers are needed so the Sherpas have work... Bullshit, if you cared you'd pay them more , a lot more and the fact that they go up and down the mountains like fifteen times while climbers only try once is unreal to me
@@idlehands1864this is VERY different than going to Disneyland. Yes, you paid the price of the ticket, but the cost of life at Disneyland is basically zero in comparison. Then implement a strict permit allocation for people that can actually make it vs people that just have too much money and are dumb... I also agree with the fact of.... who really cares that you climbed everest? Cool. Are you buying the next round?😂
Sadly of they show it they'll video is demonitised. Personally I'd take the money loss if a video like that. If videos labelled for educational purpose and warnings it won't be taken down.
@@oldskolacura9798 why are you calling people sensitive for saying whats true. There are things that will not, can not.. be shown on this platform. Makes 0 sense, rather be sensitive than ignorant if thats what it comes too
You'd think these bodies in paths you will take up there. it be considered bad moral for the other climbers but each and everyone of them attempting this knows full well that could be them frozen in time up there.
Yea but if someone is still alive... forget reaching the peak and use that time to try and help others. Reaching the point is cool sure great job but passing up dying humans for a photograph is sick. Could be them frozen in time..... could also be them half alive needing help and watching other humans walk on by to reach a meaningless milestone in comparison to life
Green Boots is definitely still there. And I would think that most of the 200+ climbers who now call Everest their 'permanent home' would be quite happy to be at rest there. In fact, given the terrible choices of some, like David Sharpe for example, and given that they were not novices and knew better than to make the choices that they did on that mountain, I'd go as far as to say that more than a few of them actually chose Everest as their resting place before they even left home.
Spencer Matthews a british celeb when he was 10 his brother micheal matthews in 1999 became the youngest britain to summit everest age 22 but he disapeared 3 hours later and was never found but in 2017 matthew recived a photo of a body buried in the snow in the location he went missing
Everyone is struggling to get to the top and struggling to get down. You know the risk, no one is is responsible to get your dead body off the mountain.
The mystery of Mallory and Irvin is better left unknown. It just makes their climb all the more fascinating. If the camera is found and the film is developed to show no summit photos, it will be a huge disappointment. I like to think they made it and were so overwhelmed by their achievement that they stayed too long and it cost them their lives. They will always live in lore of the great mountaineers.
One day, there will be so many dead bodies strewn across Everest, that the Gov't will have to close it down for a few seasons just to get them out of there. Then there is metric tons of human waste (💩) & garbage at base camp which is getting mountainous itself. Greed is ruining the mountain!
Everest went from a challenge for the few to a tourist destination for anyone with the thousands it takes to go...the unfit, people who aren't up to the challenge, but they buy their way up the mountain.
I guess that's why people count k2 as the actual challenge mountain now it's not touristable. It's not as tall but twice as dangerous. An rugged it's killed just as many
It is unreal how intact Mallory still was when found. The strength of cold is so hard to conceptualize until you see some of those who rest on Everest. Oh for that camera being found. I believe they did summit, and fell in descent.
when climbing a mountain i dont think you should have to see dead bodies, and years from now, they are gonna have so many bodies, what are they gonna do then, just like all the garbage accumulated after all the years. they are gonna have a huge problem, and its all because of money
i think the mess lefted behind is the governments problem with all the money they are making they can afford to clean up their mountain. the people pay great money to them its the governments problem for clean up

@Eds7570 then probably don't click on videos labeled "dead climbers on Everest." Are we really that far gone that we have to blur stuff we're talking about, the literal point of the video, because someone isn't smart enough to realize the video talking about deaf bodies, SHOWS DEAD BODIES!?! I Mean, come on
Yeah, GOD said not to tempt him and doing anything that can kill you your life is literally in God's hands and it seems he has taken mercy on a lot more climbers than not, behold the power of our Almighty God and his creation.....
Do you think Sherpas are exploited as essential but overlooked heroes of Everest expeditions?
Absolutely
Yeah

💯
Seeing a literal line to reach the summit fills me with disgust for our forsaken species.
Does seeing a line at a ski resort or an amusement park do the same? The Nepalese turned Everest into a tourist attraction it's the same thing

Nobody cares.
Why do you blur out the photos? What’s the point of the video if you can’t see anything?
Wait until you realize what what website you're on...

The picture used at 14:35 supposedly showing David Sharp is actually Lincoln Hall
Came here to say the same thing
Came here to say the same. But also, many of the photos & video footage at the start aren't even at Everest!
Remember. Every dead body on Everest was once a highly motivated individual.
Viewer discretion is unnecessary. Nobody will be upset by shapeless blobs.
If you're going to blurr pics don't bother showing them
Great! A video in which everything it is about is blurred..
No Sherpas, no team, no supplemental oxygen. Some people just need to be protected against themselves.
Show the bodies: that’s the point
Its youtube stupid.
UA-cam is liberal, they can't handle the truth and images. Softies
@moep737 You are too sensitive. Gen z I'm guessing.

Green boots is still there. His body wasn't seen so people thought he had been removed but from 2017 it's still sadly there 😢

I’m surprised someone didn’t steal his green boots ,they are very nice colours
Wtf? That's your thought?
What if I told you oxygen gets stolen on the mountain. I woudnt be so fucking stupid to climb the mountain
When you say challenges please say self imposed challenges lol ...crazy
While I admire the drive it must take to do this, to me, I couldn't imagine a bigger waste of time and especially money.
It's a pathological condition though...
It’s a giant spoiler alert because after accomplishing a feat that big. There isn’t much left.
To me It feels like it's just another way to pad their already inflated egos.
Viewer discretion advised? Don’t dare look at the blurred out photos.
I thought they moved green boots
They did
Green Boots was moved out of sight.

or death…
Idk why. It's nothing but a big rock.

Anyone ever tried eating a years old body?
what kind of stupid ass question is this?
