    Hey Jay! Good job on your first paint correction! You were methodical in the steps and I think the results came out super nice! A well detailed car always looks sooooo much better am I right? Enjoy your ride!

      @@JayJafar Your next major upgrade will be to apply your first true ceramic coating, the ones in glass bottles. Those will last for years, instead of months like spray counterparts. And with the quality of coatings nowadays, they are soooo much easier to apply compared to just a decade ago.

      I will surely be watching your videos to learn and tackle that next.
      Would an IPA wipe be enough to remove this spray coating before the true ceramic coat?

    I love the way you explain with a nice combination of verbal and non verbal communication.

    Yo, that ride looks sick! Now, all you need to do is black out those wheels, and it'll be looking absolutely amazing. Props to you for putting in the effort, man!

      Thank you so much, black wheels are on the list… I have a vacation coming up probably after that.

    Thanks for this, you did a great job! I’ve wanted to do a paint correction for a while but didn’t want to pay the sports car premium most detailers seem to quote. My 2020 is in rough shape on the front end so hopefully the compound can restore the beauty

      Honestly, while I gained respect for the work detailers do at the same time its something that looks scary but very satisfying and easy to do.
      After doing it myself, I would highly recommend anyone to do it but with the right tools and knowledge from youtube channels like I mentioned (pan the organizer)
      Good luck!!

    Nice job! I have a Z06 allocation and it’ll be two more years before I get it. Undecided between Accelerate Yellow, Red Mist or the Amp Orange. You just pushed me closer to the Amp Orange. Sharp ride.

      Thank you! ... All 3 choices you are undecided on are definitely the best colors with the addition of the blue. You cant go wrong with either. I was confused on the choice too but I am super pleased with the amplify orange. And Congrats on your allocation Be safe on that beast of a car.

    Excellent as always! Had mine done and costs ranged from $2500 - $1250. I chose $1250 and it turned out beautiful.

      Thank you for your kind words. The cost really varies by location I was quoted 2700 for correction, Ceramic coat interior and exterior along with front end PPF (precut). I am thinking of tackling the PPF next, Not sure though as I lack the skills.

      @@JayJafar I have a friend who installed PPF for his business, and he said he doesn't recommend it because of yellowing and cracking over time. Not sure if it's true for all products though.

    • @JayJafar

      I do strongly believe it depends on the product. It used to be like that but now the tech has come a long way.
      The only personal experience I had was on 2006 Mercedes (half bonnet & front), and yes it looked ugly after years of it being on there

    I have done the Ceramic Spray by Washing the car and drying then Spray and wipe polishing with no water will last longer.

    • @JayJafar
      @JayJafar  2 місяці тому +1

      I think the life of the spray is 3-4 months
      I will try this next
      Thanks for the tip

      Thank you, I spend about 200 but still have material left, the shop would have charged almost 1200 so net saving of about 1 grand

    How about PPF? I have that on the front end of my C8..

    • @JayJafar
      @JayJafar  22 дні тому

      That is the best thing you can do for protection from uv as well as from rock chips and scratches
      You still need paint correction before adding the pff
      But adding a ceramic coat even over your ppf will make maintenance washes much easier and make the color pop more
