Thank you! Been watching for 5 years. Bought your guide years ago. Glad to see you still honing your craft, and sharing with us!

We used one of these on an old oak floor . Leveled the floor super well and efficiently.

I just got some from holer for my concrete grinder so I can take coatings off wood floors.

If there was ever a job where the work is 99% before the big finish...its refinishing floors, that said having the correct equipment and the right approach certainly helps...

Why was there aluminum oxide on the floor? Is it part of the finish or residue from what was in the room before it was cleared?

It is extremely hardwearing. Many laminate flooring products incorporate it in their surface coating

Why not use a drum sander?

Don't know what sadolin 2 part is made of but when I had to remove that I used a belt sander, those things eat wood but it took a long time, for looked fab after using osmo but it's a bit scratched now 😐.
What would you suggest for softwood parquet? I'm bored of scratches now.
    Would apreciate your opinion.

use a lesser grid(switch timely), and choose belts not made out of paper

Oh I agree on the grits, as for belts they were decent ones on a commercial Makita but that 2 part is so bloody hard

Looks like it's designed for something like a concrete floor rather than wood
