I got mine yesterday. Its a total blast. The menu is not divey. Super intuitive and quick despite having a ton of options to choose from and really fun to perform stuff on the fly. Highly recommended!
the sleeper hit of this module is the bit corrupter. modulating the repeats and glitch risk while clock syncing to the sounds coming in seems like a recipe for extremely cool and fresh sounding rhythmic variation
Initially dismissed this one because I thought "oh it's just another jack of all trades DSP multi effect module." But it actually covers all the bases I would need out of one and sounds excellent. Might need to get two or four of these.
Not sure what you mean, presets must be selected to load but the sound updates immediately. There are some cuts in the video to show different sounds more quickly if that's what you're talking about.
@@busycircuits no I mean about the sub presets. You select an algorithm, click, then inside there are init, preset and I see you turn the knob and the sound is changing. I have to click instead. Makes sense now?
I just picked one of these up from Detroit Modular last Friday and gosh damn is it good. Probably the only multi fx module worth considering at this point.
@@stevenplawecki6685 After spending a bit more time with it I’d say it depends. For me the ease of use of use is as important as the sound quality since I don’t have a ton of free time to learn proprietary menu systems. The FX Aid has the potential to have more types of effects, but I’ll never have the time to remember each knobs function per effect, where as the MFX makes it stupid easy to change parameters while being a big dummy like myself. The only thing I’d say as far as sound quality goes is that FX Aid reverbs sound slightly better in general but not in totality. The MFX reverbs still sound pretty dang good though without a doubt.
Wow, literally a time machine, and in only 6hp. Ditching my Behringer 121 dual VCF, with spite. To make room for a Manis Iteritas, and this MFX... MIAMFX?
I’m like your biggest fan! Can’t believe how much I loved all of this!
big fans are useful 🤸♂️💨
Same. I can’t get enough of their modules tbh.
My favorite aesthetic and approach in all of eurorack. So damn cool.

Ah, love you for sneakily doing something in the style of Selected Ambient 85-92 for the Quadraverb demo ❤ALM knows its references!
Sounds fantastic! Another home run from ALM!
ALM got tired of only being the goat at clock dividers and went and became the goat for modular multifx
The Almicon reverb goes wild 🤯
Wowww so awesome. I've been wanting a new small and versatile FX module lately and y'all knocked it out of the park 💙
We have a replacement for kammerl/uClouds. Also was that ring mod a reference to Aphex Twin's Phone Pranks track off Caustic window?
i truly thought it was the intro to milkman, til i backed up and listened from the beginning point of that effect hahah

Jeez. I’m going to need a couple of these

Future classic without a doubt.
Killer module, bought two OMG
You guys! This is lovely.
I'm not going to buy any more modules **watches MFX video** I'm not going to buy any more modules after this one
That sounds really good. Well done ALM, once again ☺️
Great module. The oscilloscope is huge for me.
Can It be posible to use two effects at the same time? Distotion and delat for example ? Or reverb an delay ???
No - you'll need 2 MFXs for that!
Got it. Thanks 👍🏽
I have to click the presets on mine to hear them. you're previewing real time..what am I doing wrong?

Any E.T.A. On stock for sneidersladen? I heard Gaz Williams saying in the sonic talk podcast that there are modules ready for shipping?
Another round of restocks shipping out over next few weeks hopefully in time for xmas.
