@JohnSmith-pn4it, but Anthony Blinken didn't come to Kiev with just emty hands. At this time his promises were actually being fullfilled. The huge U.S. support package had a six months long delay, but now the parts of this package are been delivered as soon as possible and the Ukrainians know it. That naturally is giving them a big mental boost. However, the big Russian attack on the Donetsk front will soon start and it will have at least some areal success. It is highly unlikely, that the Ukrainian army would be strong enough to repel that attack. But the front just will move a bit (20 km ?) to the West, and then the attack will fade in July. The West will increase it's military and economic support to Ukraine and by the end of 2024 also many new Ukrainian combat units will arrive to the front. There might be also some NATO forces arriving to Ukraine to do some auxiliary tasks, but hardly any frontline activities. This would free several thousend Ukrainians to the front. So we can expect the Ukrainian army to counterattack in 9-13 months from now, but hardly earlier. Glory to Ukraine ! Glory to the heroes !

What I wish is that China and Russia would take the lead and try to change the world for the better, not just to help minimize the power of the U.S. I’m hoping BRICS takes the lead in the world to fight world hunger and to promote education and peace for all nations. I want to see people going forward valuing each other and not just colonialist ambitions to Rob other countries of their natural resources. I was hoping my country, the U.S. would change and take the lead in global change, but as I can see, they haven’t learned from all their dismal failures of the past and are still following an outdated script of failure.
