It took me a while to realize this, but yes the axis of resistance is controlling the pace of this conflict and dragging out this long war, not assuring mutual destruction with active American involvement, because it is hoping that enough Israelis with their dual passports will leave Israel and at some point the state will no longer able to function with their non-working Orthodox and homicidal psychotic soldiers who are probably at this point unintegratable even for Israeli society. Their long game is waiting for the state to collapse, and then the Palestinians can move in. It brings some hope.
