Heng Long (The tank company) makes some really nice tanks. I happen to own both a German Tiger I, and an American Sherman M4A3 (105mm Howitzer). Both run like champs!
I have these two tanks, they are excellent! Believe it or not I like the Sherman best because it has a special place in my heart. I think it is because it is American!

RC tanks esp. airsoft ones are loads of fun. I own a pershing tank and a tiger tank and I do mock tank battles in my living room.

You should set up some plastic toy soldiers at a decent distance away, and try and pick them off with the tank!

Mount a camera with a live feed to a cell phone and do tank battles . Habe some sort of device that pops or something that indicates a direct hit and kill switch system set up to shut the tank down for so many minutes.
this is a REAL tank not a dustbin like the M1A1 or A2

Big_Lenny v1 the abrams is not that good in tank to tank combat because of the not so good armor and most of its systems are quite old so nope i think even an upgraded t72 would be a tough enemy for an abrams nowadays

The T-72 isnt able to frontaly penetrate the M1A2, the closest a T-72 has ever come to destroying an Abrams was when a T-72 was able to penetrate the rear of an M1A1's turret, but the tank as not destroyed, it was cleared from contamination and continued service.

Nice! I got the WW2 Tiger 5 years ago, the T34 a few years ago, and the quality seems to be improving by the year. This Challenger is even better! My T34 chronos at 90fps on a 2 cell lipo so maybe try that?

The metal versions are far better..... just needs paint on the metal bits to finish it off. The plastic drive parts don't last so well on dirty rough terrain. Nice tank though, i have a Soviet T34 myself. ....

I think T-90 is the best heng long tank ever (in modern tanks). It is big, long, wide and good detailed

If you want a really different Chally 2, go to the Royal Tank Regiment web site. Ajax Squadron have painted some of their Challengers in the old Berlin Urban camouflage. Then paint your RC Challenger. They look awesome! Bunny ex 2RTR.
Mike the suspension is just like it is on the real deal it's a tortion bar system that was first used on the American m18 hellcat tank destroyer it was the best suspension system made as it gave the tank the smoothest ride available no matter what terrain it was on just some background so your British tank has American tech on it just a cool fact for you
The challenger 2 uses hydrogas suspension, not tortion

Its true the metal tracks is an upgrade and last for longer and more capable for outside terrain too. I've got one, but the USAM14A3.
The aftermarket 3rd party metal tracks with rubber pads along with the metal sprockets, idler, road wheels w/ rubber tires are good. But if you’re going to go full upgrade, might as well go for the red motors, steel gearboxes, and the metal bushings and swing arms for the suspension. The full upgrade will cost almost double the price of an entry level plastic tank.

Nah, didn't break because of metal parts. It's kind of a luck of the draw type deal. Lots of them are fine, a few are broken. I've dealt with heng longs since back in '06. Had a "snow leopard" with a broken mantlet arrive. Now days my collection consists of a Taigen t-34 and Jagdpanzer, a new 2.4 version of the old snow leopard (it's an M26), and the "pro" version of a Tiger 1 with all the metal bits and bobs. In my experience metal tracks are the way to go as the plastic ones can break so much easier. Plus they add some heft to the tank

hey Mike at the seen this video on definitely do I can to find this tank or these two or four of them and hopefully I can get them in a variety of different. you see I plan on making stop motion videos well I do but I want to make better ones with my Soldier figures and this tank looks like I did perfect for 3 inch tall figures. I think firing the BB's at 55 to 57 miles an hour into styrofoam pieces would make a more realistic sort of speak affect. so sometime in the future I'm definitely trying pick this thing up. thank you very much for sharing this video with us today it was very fun and very informative in a tank is just beautiful it's just beautiful man. great job and just have a great day!

The problem with your first broken tank was the delivery agent. I have five World War II Heng Long tanks. The more metal you get, the better the tank!
