The extra days in QF is mainly for everyday people. It gives the rest of the 15% time to do the workouts while also travelling, working around our schedules and everything. A testament to this is the higher no. of participants in the 25% who were able to do all the workouts. If athletes want to redo them, power to them but us regular people can do it and be happy
Yup, Mayhem on the Mountain sounds awesome
I don't think it was just about money, it was exposure as well, but also self-confidence in their ability to qualify even giving this advantage to their competition, getting the opportunity to be pushing each other and having people from all over the world chearing for them live, giving back to the community... It was amazing. And their scores were *super elite* even showing up for the world to see and removing the secrecy aroud their scores.

Apparently, according to the takes swirling around about the failure of the AFJ judging, CrossFit is like every other sport on the planet now. Watched every Braves game so far this year and the umps strike zones are incredible (incredibly bad). During football season think of how terrible a lot of flags (or no flag thrown) is. It's an unfortunate part of sport. Sorry for the athletes who used these judges and ended up getting penalized; it shouldn't be that way.
So frustrating about what happened to Paige and the other athletes. I can t imagine what they are going through. All the work that goes into the athletes getting to this stage and then being denied a place due to a technicality that even the professional judges didn’t see, is just wrongM! If AFJ coaches can’t ensure the submissions meet the requirements then what hope do athletes have.
do the reps correctly and they’re all in the semis. none of them even tried to complete a step up. embarrassing how bad the reps were. they deserved the hits
