Welcome to another rabbit hole. If you would like to hear another very different cover of this song react to Steve N Seaguls. Think Finnish hillbillies lol.
Can you imagine how much money they spend on their bows alone🤯. Thinking about that for just one show alone is probably insane. Practice time money must be astronomical😄
Priceless! Rofl....your face....heeehehehee! You been...."THUNDERSTRUCK"!! These two men started out as young students intensely competitive with each other. Highly skilled, classically trained in Croatia and, I believe Serbia. They forged a friendship out of their love for their music, in the process forming their own stylistic renderings of non-traditional songs. You will 💕 them, their music, and how they interact with each other and their audiences. Their live concerts are must sees, and I understand, usually sold out with standing room only crowds. Welcome to the new classics.😂🥰
Sjepan is Croatian and Luka has a Croatian dad and a Slovenian mom. They both are classically trained cellists and have collaborated with many famous artists. Amazing!
Ha! You've come across another one of my favourites. These young men are from Croatia and competed against each other before joining forces to become 2Cellos. They are amazing. They cross genres from classical, rock, Ballads and pop. They've covered many songs you will recognise. Iron maiden, , Nirvana, Michael Jackson, and many more.. They have solo careers but I keep coming back to these older recordings... I just love the way they work off each other.. The chemistry us phenomenal... Goodness only knows how many bow strings they get through. 😂 They have played with Elton John and Steve Vai. ..... Love your reaction. X 🏴❤️

When I taught K-5 general music (and now community college music appreciation), I would teach the strings family with classical examples and then more 'modern' examples so kids realize they aren't just 'orchestra instruments'. I use samples from 2 Cellos (this one and Smooth Criminal), Kevin Olusola from PTX doing his cello-boxing that first got him noticed by Scott (when they were searching YT for a beatboxer), and Lindsey Stirling. If you REALLY want an interesting version of Thunderstuck, look up Hayseed Dixie's version.
Ok, you recognized Vivaldi after about four bars, you recognized Pachobels Canon in D and Beethoven's 9th in PTX Evolution of Music. Are you a musician, Matt?
Omigosh! I am so excited! Just opened to your page and you are reacting to 2 Cellos! I. Love. Stephan and Luka! They are my favorite Celloists! Can not wait to see your reaction! Hurry, hurry up! Let's go, Matt, let's go!
That 'riff-off' @8.20 to me is such reminder that classical music had the greatest minds, composers & talented musicians for centuries. It took the accessibility & commercial pull of popular music to knock it off it's perch - the genius of it is still there. Once you've heard all the famous hooks & riffs of rock music, some of the best rock has classical inspirations. Muse are a great band that IMO show that really well. Angus Young got the idea for the Thunderstruck riff from the warm-up finger exercise he used to do before gigs!
Matt...once you get a little further down the Acapella trail with Pentatonix, Home Free, and Voiceplay, you need to check out TheDooo (Guitar), Marcus Veltri (piano), Frank Tedesco (piano), and Rob Landes (violin)....they are all fantastic.
I LOVE them! This is the firs of theirs that I heard too. They rock it so hard and are out of this world talented! HOW do they keep up that pace?!? They tear the crap out of their bows!
Some other favorites that you need to see are The HU. Start with Wolf Totem, then Yuve Yuve Yu. Eventually you will want to hear more. They don't have a lot of videos out yet, but there are videos of live shows. The HU videos are like mini movies with the intro's so you will need patience waiting for the music to start, but not always. :)) 2cellos are 100% pure talent and humor. They are amazing as you just saw. There are more and all are fantastic.
Next up: react to "Breakaway" by Big Pig. It was the music played under the opening credits to "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and was a huge hit worldwide
These guys are great! Like how they got into character for this piece of music. They really shred their strings when they play with so much energy. Very talented guys! This is my second time watching these guys. The other one I saw was them doing Pirates Of The Caribbean.
They are amazing talents. The guy on the left - his name escapes me - has a lot of single cello videos too. I saw quite a few during the pandemic. The music and the talent were great, but honestly, I got where I couldn't watch him. I won't tell you where he went wrong for me, but it will be interesting to watch you watch and see if you come to the same conclusion. edit - Looked him up. His name is Hauser.
Okay, if you liked this, then you may be interested in The Piano Guys, Ember Trio, and David Garrett (his Viva la Vida cover was a favourite of mine, but his cover of Thunderstruck was actually the first version I heard 😆). There's so many fun instrumental covers of modern pop songs!
Please do "Smooth Criminal" by them.......way awesome !!......also "The Trooper". These guys were so popular when they started doing these collabs with each other.........unfortunately, they don't do these types of videos anymore, i wish they did !!!
2Cellos are amazing! I'm so glad you reacted to this! If you want something that is completely "WTF is going on?", you should react to this live video of VoicePlay doing "The Chicken Song"... be careful of the fish because it will make you laugh to the point of near falling over. ua-cam.com/video/jwgz9BQQtWI/v-deo.html
Since you're branching out, you could check French guitarist Tina Setkic. That's another rabbit hole, but it's a finite one since she hasn't posted anything after her cover of Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement in 2016, when she was 17. And her earlier material has been removed, there's only 16 vids left on the channel. She's a shredder, covering both existing Metal music and adapted classical stuff. She's gone silent since 2016. Most likely explanation is that she went to University and had to take a break from guitar in order to concentrate on schooling. But I don't think anyone really knows. The version of Moonlight Sonata that she plays (link below) was arranged and first performed by guitarist Michele Vioni (stage name "Dr. Viossy"). Tina plays an essentially identical rendition, and uses the same backing track that he did. (His version is available on YT as well.) Anyway, you have to see her to believe her. She shreds, taps, and has a hairband at the top of the fretboard so the strings make no sound when played open. ua-cam.com/video/o6rBK0BqL2w/v-deo.html
Believe it or not there was a time when people would not leave their home without dressing up to "be presentable in public". Nowadays we have people that believe going to the grocery store in your jammies is acceptable. SMH 🙄
The best part of seeing all these reactions to this video are the SURPRISE on their faces when they realize "holy f***, it really is Thunderstruck!"
Smells Like Teen Spirit next? 👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
You literally looked “Thunderstruck!”🐝🤗❤️
Think more back to the future lol, it's practically the end guitar scene lol
Ac/Dc posted this video on their Facebook page when it came out. They are big fans of 2 Cellos
Some country boys do this well too.. these guys are gr8.love your reaction. Thx for sharing ♥
Welcome to another rabbit hole. If you would like to hear another very different cover of this song react to Steve N Seaguls. Think Finnish hillbillies lol.
It's like watching the two hemispheres of the human brain communicate. They are practically the same person.
Great reaction! Reminded me more of Marty McFly than Jack Black though!
Now go check them out doing Trooper Overture.
You just head banged to 2CELLOS!! Ck out Queen's cover "The Show Must Go On" the video is EPIC!!
Can you imagine how much money they spend on their bows alone🤯. Thinking about that for just one show alone is probably insane. Practice time money must be astronomical😄
I think you'll also like 2cellos doing The Trooper Overture, The Godfather Theme, and Whole Lotta Love vs. Beethoven 5th Symphony.
The official video of Trooper Overture is my fave of their whole catalogue! (Minnesota USA)
Okay good catch on noticing it was Vivaldi!

There are at least 2 complete concerts show without ads. Phenomenal!
Sjepan is Croatian and Luka has a Croatian dad and a Slovenian mom. They both are classically trained cellists and have collaborated with many famous artists. Amazing!
Another good cover with a twist is Steve'n'seagulls - Thunderstruck
2 Cellos are fantastic! Thanks for the reaction.

These guys are FANTASTIC! SO ARE YOU!😁 SUBBED!✌️❤️🙏😎
I am lucky to have seen them twice. Watch them live “Thunderstruck live” is a totally amazing.
Thanks for your reaction to this one--love it! They also do a cover of Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" that is fire!
Loved your reaction, Matt. They really are incredible. You need to react to some more of their videos.
their collab with Steve Vai on "highway to hell" was epic
Please do Trooper Overture which is a mash up of William Tell Overture *and The Trooper (Iron Maiden).
WOW! This is amazing!

Great reaction. So glad you did this one. I remember when I found it years ago, I must have had the same look on my face.
Good for you for recognizing the Four seasons by Vivaldi!!

Wow !! Where did these guys come from? First time hearing them - thanks for the intro !!
Hold on to your seat.

I love watching people react to this so much. Everyone has the same reaction and it's wonderful lol
If you ever get a chance to see these guys play live, do it. I did, and it was life changing :)
Hmm..I wonder if you'd enjoy The Hu? Maybe Yuve Yuve Yu? A little Mongolian rock on two strings?
Matt..so glad someone has gotten you on Two Cellos……Judy D
Some other favorites that you need to see are The HU. Start with Wolf Totem, then Yuve Yuve Yu. Eventually you will want to hear more. Yes! The Hu is fantastic.
Hurrah! Yes! After this you MUST do The Trooper, Eye of The Tiger, and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Steven Tyler and 2 cellos do walk this way and it is amazing
You know, you might like Falling in Reverse. If you don't know of them, you're in for a TREAT! Popular Monster is a GREAT start 😉🤘🤘🤘

These guys are amazing, I've been a fan for years! Great reaction, and welcome to the rabbit hole.
They also did a cover of Highway to Hell with Steve Vai Would love to see your reaction to it
Famous last words

Mate, if you think that is sick ... please check: 2CELLOS - The Trooper Overture [OFFICIAL VIDEO] ... best cover to Iron Maiden ever! Thank you.
Not all music is good. Laugh through tears (watching the reaction).
Believe it or not there was a time when people would not leave their home without dressing up to "be presentable in public". Nowadays we have people that believe going to the grocery store in your jammies is acceptable. SMH 🙄
Your frame is to Big!!!!
We don’t see Luka and Stepjan!
Thumbs up for the vid but thumbs down for your commentary! Too many pauses for the viewing audience. It's not about you!
It is in the reaction, I don't want you to go hear to listen to the music video, go to the music video
