This lounge looks awesome. Sad that I forgot about it opening on my recent trip from JFK. Definitely will visit it next time. Great review as always Max!
I'll be checking this one out on Wed Feb 28 with my Ritz and PP. My husband is flying to Sun Valley Idaho next week March 4 (ski trip) so hell get to check out LGA. I just showed him your LGA video. I still have to show him your Japan skin trip video. He is so not a lounge guy but since starting in this hobby he's been able to access a few!! I can't wait to see the JFK lounge!!!! Love your videos. All of them! Thanks for all the great content!!
If you have multiple Priority Pass membership through different cards, through multiple non-chase issued cards, do you get one complimentary visit with each membership?
The one in HK was a big disappointment. It wasn't as elegant as shown in their pics, food was just so so mostly and limited, small space, bar area looked old. I've learned to have no expectations from the Sapphire brand in making lounges after visiting there. Being such a big brand, they learned nothing from elegant lounges around the world.
Hi, I have the Chase sapphire preferred for two years now and I’m thinking about product changing it to the reserve within this month and I wanted to know if I hold the reserve for two years would I be able to downgraded to the flex, then reapply for the reserve and get the welcome bonus again?
@@MaxMilesPoints which card do you think has more value, venture x or sapphire reserve? I already have the venture x so I’m curious if getting the reserve as well is worth it.
@@MaxMilesPointsThanks for the video! Very nice look at the Chase lounge. I also wondered whether you prefer Chase or C1’s lounges. I’m asking because I’m debating whether it would be worth downgrading or closing the Venture X. If I had the Ritz Carlton (I’ll be eligible to product change later this year), then the Venture X’s value would be in C1 Lounges. Plus, my home airport will be getting a Chase lounge. What do you think?
Hey Max! Thanks for a great video. Regarding venture X access. My partner and I are on one account with our own priority pass accounts 1. Do we each get one time a year or combined one time? Thanks!
It seems like all the credit card lounges at JFK are all in terminal 4. Not ideal for me because I’m flying through terminal 5 next week. Do you know if I can easily get from the two terminals without leaving security?
They should allow for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card holders to enter a Sapphire lounge as well, even if it's one time per year like Priority pass holders from other credit card issuers. It's kind of like salt in the wound even though you're a Sapphire member.
As someone who also has a CSP, I have to disagree. This would severely overcrowd the lounge. I could see maybe a 50% discount to the normal fee to get in, but I'd doubt they would do that
@@Dopadroidyeah capital one let venture cardholders in lounges for free twice a year, now they are scaling back in 2025 to reduce crowding I would assume
Someone needs to bring a lounge to Newark EWR!
Yessssss
Ugh. One could dream... I have 3 layovers just this year... Newark is killing me.
Amex is building one
I think there is one at the new terminal A though I dunno which one. I think it’s capital one not sure?
There is one United Lounge in Terminal C if I remember one correctly.
Just got my CSR and i’m so excited after seeing the lounges to travel
Mans got first access to every new lounge! Thanks for sharing!
Hahah I wish! But I’ll be posting LGA Chase Lounge video soon!
@@MaxMilesPointslga looks better
Great video! Very informative. I saw you at the lounge and you got me in your video. 😊
Hahah no way! And you didn’t say hi!
@@MaxMilesPoints Maybe next time in the next Chase Lounge opening.
Thanks for sharing you answered my burning question that the chase rep couldnt answer. Keep that content coming
Glad I could help!

💯 thanks for watching!
Good review video. Good description of the lounge. Keep it up.

Awesome video,I have Amex priority pass, should I use my one freebie at chase in New York?
@@willnme1146 yes!
@@willnme1146use it at LGA!
I guess I can go twice per year since I have Priority Pass with the AmEx Plat and the Venture X
I haven’t seen data points on this but I would assume that’s how it would work and should work
I have the same + US altitude reserve. hope that means 3x @@MaxMilesPoints
damn. I have an Amex plat already so I enjoy my access to the centurion lounges, but this looks soo much better than the slop trays we get in there!

They really need to add a Capital one or Chase lounge to Miami Already!
If you have multiple Priority Pass membership through different cards, through multiple non-chase issued cards, do you get one complimentary visit with each membership?
Yup!
How do you compare to this lounge to the new Delta One Club?
seems like better than the one in Hong Kong. Thank you for showing!
Thanks for sharing my! I haven’t been to the HKG one but I’ve heard it’s not as nice as the BOS/LGA/JFK ones.

I have the Ritz-Carlton card. They just scan the corresponding PP card and boarding pass?

Which do you prefer Chase or Capital One airport lounges?
Trending towards Chase lounges 👀👀 the LGA Sapphire lounge is impressive
@@MaxMilesPoints which card do you think has more value, venture x or sapphire reserve?

Better value capital one venture X! Not sure if makes sense to have both though tbh

Chase makes Amex look bad. (I am team Amex still, but it may change in the future)
Can u tell me what item do they open til or is it 24/7
Is there "wellness room"? How does it work?
Does PP under Amex Plat work as well ? You mentioned Capital One in the video but other cards offer PP as apart of the perks
Yes! Capital one was just an example
Did you pay for the burgers?
Everything in the lounge is complimentary
Hey Max! Thanks for a great video.
Regarding venture X access.
My partner and I are on one account with our own priority pass accounts

Each separate priority pass membership from a different card would get their one complimentary pass to the lounge a calendar year
It seems like all the credit card lounges at JFK are all in terminal 4. Not ideal for me because I’m flying through terminal 5 next week. Do you know if I can easily get from the two terminals without leaving security?
It’s not possible to go between T4 and T5 airside (or secure side). You’ll need to clear security each time transferring between terminals.
I just went from Terminal 4 to 7 a couple of weeks ago. TSA said its fine to enter security, hang out, then leave and re enter again. Had no issues!
@@jakemercureyup! You can enter any terminal except terminal 1 at JFK with a valid boarding pass
@@jakemercure thanks to both of you for the input. My wife was stressed out we couldn’t go to the Centurion Lounge during our layover haha
If you have the chase sapphire preferred card can you get in?
No
Wait, is the one in HK still accessible unlimited times with regular priority pass cards ?
Yup!
I have the chase sapphire reserve . Do I have to pay for the food in there like burgers ?
What is the best lounge at JFK ( for CSR or venture x holders)?
Chase Sapphire lounge without a doubt
Wish you could just present your CSR card like you do with platinum.
Agreed that would simplify things more
Can you reserve a facial like the other Chase lounges? If so how?
JFK doesn’t have facials unfortunately the LGA one does though !
How many guest can you bring if you have the capital one venture X?
None. It only admits one.
0 , only priority pass cardholder gets the one complimentary access pass
did chase fly you out for this or did you actually plan a trip to the city around the lounge opening?
I paid for my own flight , they just provided access to the lounge. I also visited the LGA lounge too while I was in NY
can you bring additional guest if you have venture x priority pass?
Unfortunately, no
Stop by Dulles chase lounge !

hoping they’ll add a sapphire or capital one lounge in LAX 😢
Agreed LAX lounge situation is not good (unless you walk to Tom Bradley for the Amex centurion lounge which still kinda sucks LOL)
Now that the Amex Plat is garbage, hopefully Chase can pick up the slack with their premium offerings!
too bad those with priority pass via CSP can visit...wait for it...once a year! :(
CSP doesn’t have priority pass … 🥲
oops sorry, i meant priority pass via amex platinum@@MaxMilesPoints. you'd figure those with CSP would at least get access a few times a year.
