    We've followed your lead. Spent a month near Puerto Nuevo, a month in San Quintin, and now a month in Mulege. La Paz and Los Barilles (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) are our next monthly stops. If ever in San Quintin, I highly recommend Campo Lorenzo Sky Park as the RV spot!

    Loved the video! I had an ear infection down there a couple years ago. I went to see a doctor in Progreso and after we asked how much? He wrote down 40 and we thought maybe $40 US but nope it was 40 pesos 😬. Watching your videos makes us want to get back to the Baja! Next October!

    We have seen dolphins while kayaking, but nothing like Liz experienced. Pretty wild. That Mexican dental office was fancier than ours. We are sure there are many mixed emotions about being back in the US. Am sure you are glad you had a safe return.

    Loved this video of the dolphins! I’m looking on the map for Playa del Mulege and the only thing coming up is Mulege. It’s showing palm trees and a river. Would that be close to the secret Cove you guys were at?

      The playas de Mulege means beaches of Mulege. There are many many beaches on Bahia de Concepcion near Mulege. We are not sharing the name of this spot. But you can see dolphins on this beach from almost any beach there.

    Welcome back! At the RV campsites (you have visited), is car camping permitted? Do some of them have small cabinas?

    • @EatSeeRV
      @EatSeeRV  Рік тому

      Yes most RV parks don't really care what you're in. You likely will pay the same rate as an RV despite not using as many services though.

    its unfortunate things worked out this way but you guys have your temp residencies, so you can regroup and come back asap and stay as long as you want. I just went back to Canada after 21 months in Mexico... the 2nd day I was back there I booked my flight back to Mexico. ended up spending 5 weeks back in Canada. got to see the change from winter to spring in Alberta which was nice but I just dont click with the sterile car-centric culture there. now been back in MX for a week and making plans to do some travels to new places. first stop is Tequila in a couple weeks. anyways, will be interesting to see how your plans work out for getting back here!

    • @EatSeeRV
      @EatSeeRV  Рік тому

      We'll be back to Mexico soon but won't be turning right around. We have other travel plans scheduled for summer 🌞 glad you got to go back to Canada, but also glad you're back home in Mexico. We do understand the feeling. It's a culture shock when you return

  • @bluebutterflytravels191

    Be super careful with kitty padding around where cholla is growing. It's some nasty stuff and it breaks off and there are usually pieces all over the ground where it's growing. Trust me...stepped on some barefoot as a kid in San Diego... YOUCH!
    BTW, beautiful peak life experience you had out there with the dolphins! We love baja but since it was a lifetime comfort zone for my son and I (all our lives growing up in San Diego) we opted for central Mexico. Now here we are in the beautiful pine forests in the mountains of NE Michoacan. LOVING it as a summertime rainy season base camp.

    • @EatSeeRV
      @EatSeeRV  Рік тому

      Yessssss we wish we were in mainland. So much diversity in culture and ecosystems there. The mountains of Michoacan sounds amazing.

    Great video. Quick?, where you mention no gas or diesel for a long stretch.....how long is that drive and from what town to what town. This is a great concern for us as our Sprinter van has a small tank and we've had a scare previously. We also have our disabled daughter with us, so its a little bit more scary to be stranded😮. Thanks in advance and hope you can help.

    • @EatSeeRV
      @EatSeeRV  Рік тому

      Definitely have extra diesel cans with you. You can Google it and see the gas station distance on that stretch. It's a lot. We didn't need to fill but have a 50 gallon tanks.
