"You? You have come here to find something, something we have both desired for a long time, your presence in this place means you are willing to do what i ask of you, if you follow my requests i will take you to what it is you desire."
"It has been...suffocating."
"A storm is coming."
"There is nothing down here."
“Tyler get rid of that yee yee ass haircut”
'...tyler, i was...wrong."
You know what, I don't blame Pyro for wanting to keep this in.
Is it jus me who likes rewatching the montage ?
same
£78k song btw
What’s it from? My college station just played it and I love it.
where from?
I love that part when he is playing on the saxophone.
Samuel Rubín You didn't like the marimba part in the middle? That was my favorite. :-)
Samuel Rubín Bass saxophone all the way through. Microphone tricks he uses.
you dupe
the tambourine is what really gets at me
mmmhh...adding more cowbell maybe?!
Pyro really found a good pick for his outro music, it fits so well with the theme of the game honestly
Also -80k PepeLaugh
That outro was so good god damn
yep the two months wait lost of a sponsor just for a 2 minute section montage that uses this song was totally worth it Pyro great job one of the best moments of the video
I did come from the pyro video, but ive been a really big fan of Colin Stetson for a while. one of my favorite composers. The soundtrack to Hereditary and Colour out of Space is incredible
What video?
@@jesusalfonso5171 "the 2nd best free game you've ever played", he lost ~80,000 just to get this song lmao
Keep in mind that a UA-camr lost 78k just to use this song
Small edit: Nevermind it's **80k**
absolutely worth it, the song is incredible
@@z3st_35 of course this song is amazing
It was worth every pound
Yeah Pyro was right.
It was worth losing 70k for this.
You mean subs right?
@@luccixen1531 You wish.
Cute little lesbian with a mobile gas cooker sent me here.
7:17 damn, that part always gets me. So simple, yet so effective
Nothing simple about it… not just actually managing to physically produce that on the sax, but what is being conveyed.
@@joebob8713 ok, my bad. I admit. I admit that using the word "simple" in relation to the work of Colin Stetson sounds almost like an insult.
Tyler. I... was wrong.
Opposite of smooth. It's Melodic, forceful, hard, gritty, dirty, heavy. It's like modern trance smashed into freestyle jazz/improvisation.. And 7:40 it falls into a softer drab, pseudo-repetitive drone which reminds me a lot of Rush's "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" which is extremely mesmerizing until falling into even heavier dragging weight. It gets sludgier than the heaviest sludge metal. Strong finish.
I could read your description of paint drying and it would enrich my soul as much as this comment has. Well... almost.
Welcome Home, Tyler.
I've only very recently been made aware of Colin Stetson, and I think he's one of the most gifted and fearlessly pioneering musicians on the planet right now. Thanks, Colin! Keep following your muse and keep blowing us away with your gift (pun intended :-)! F***ing incredible!
ua-cam.com/video/fJV3lozpRXc/v-deo.html
would totally ask Colin Stetson, if it would be ok to use this in a Psychological horror silent short film, mainly the music telling the story itself
Yeah but you might lose 80k dollars
@@revilno IYKYK
@@revilno Tyler... That comment is incredibly based.
@@aposescout6280 yeah, holy shit...
fucking hell it happened
I wanna hear more music like this. It just gives me a vibe I didn't realize I wanted.
This guy is a blessing right now for me ! May God bless his life ! So beautiful and inspiring.... i am a composer and i have many projects for the sax... I needed this ... Also as music lover..... The sax has a lot of possibilities, but sometimes you need a new context to put them into value...
RingofRae RoR gay
Man, this song would be great for an outro of a 2 hour long video about a free horror mod for DOOM II. Hope someone makes that video. Maybe some british twit.
"She left us. Everyone left us."
"We don't... I don't have to take it anymore..."
Tyler. I. Was. Wrong.
Best piece of music from 2013.
I want to have a modern version of KOYAANISQATSI and his music attached to it. So great.
this music sounds so strangely cosmic, as though nature itself composed it

Just discovered this song because it was used in the soundtrack for this new movie age out (amazing movie) and wow this is unbelievable
Pyrocynical moment
Ayo the song my wife left me to
(She took 80k and my dog)
I'll replace her

Cannot wait for the anime this shit is haunting and I'm hooked
I wonder if that *END* will sound allot like this
what anime?

@@smollfin7461 oh damn I should’ve known
there was a story that i forgot listening to this, but this is another story.
Thank You for real stereo and HD in it!
When 8:32 kicked in it scared me but in a good way 👀💀
I really love that part going to the end 🔥
It's quite the luxury to have forgotten how cruel nature is. A three legged wolf (suggesting a leg that has been chewed off by itself or another animal) reminds me how there is no mercy in the natural world. It's just chaos. This song sounds to me like it could be set to the events leading to this creature experiencing this trauma. Terrifying shit.
tfw when your trying to justify your suicide by severing all your connections and getting into a fantasy of returning to an old mining colony where you once lived in peace.
"Tyler you have stage 3 lung cancer and your wife and friends have left you" -a random guy from the radio
Colin Stetson is my favorite composer, after hearing the hereditary soundtrack i was down for his music
Simply, "Wow!" And, then I utter a Christopher Walken "Wow"
then I utter an Owen Wilson "wow"
And then I utter a Mel Gibson "wow"
A Keanu Reeves "Woah"
Is that a three-legged wolf?
Yes
The wild is rough my friend.
Looks like a coyote
Tyler. I was wrong
Genius.
How does Pyro always know what song to use for those montages? This fits so well.
disregarding pyro, really neat shit! never heard something like it.
Good soundtrack to a desperate search for a toilet.
god damnit hahaha
Tyler and Pyro is what i can think when i listen to this song.
Beautiful song
Epic !
POV: You just watched Pyrocynical talk for 2 hours about a Doom 2 mod.

funny
Doom Jazz halfway through.
Worth it.
Were all those sounds made solely through the saxophone?
yeah! you should see this guy live its almost unbelievable
+Liam Blackwell actually a small parts of the sounds are generated by a microphone thats directly placed on his vocal chords. He literally sings while playing. So its not 100% sax ;)
right, well he can still do it all in one take and he uses the same mic setup live
YES!!!!!!!!
This song costs 80k
4:42
The 4 notes at 8:37 are a musical interpretation of the Tetragrammaton 'YHWH'. The name of this song almost sounds like a spell, "Too see more Light" because listening to it opens you to a higher plane of consciousness, the divine light of Deity. It sounds both beautiful and terrifying because you can't be sure what you are hearing, only that you are experiencing it. I type this on Rosh Hashanah, because Colin Stetson's music reminds me of the blaring of a shofar, I really think he's got some kind of divine inspiration behind his music, I'm always drawn to listening to it. Glad other people are getting more into him too.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Shut up jew
@@RaifLisko My name look Jewish to you? One can look into the esoteric aspects of western religion without being a diehard believer. I'm more of a Buddhist than anything.
Here from Pyrocynical's Total Chaos video.
great
Best loss of 80k ever man
NOBODY NOTICED THE 3 LEGGED WOLF THEN???
I feel this song would fit the final scene in Uzumaki manga

this comment section is filled with pyro viewers. hope he makes enough money out of that video to cover up the 80k. man deserves F.
How weird that this today has become a tiktok trending sound. I wonder if the original maker gets any credit.
to be honest, i think everyone here came because of Pyro.

it's a pity he didn't burst into Careless Whisper all the sudden. Could've been epic.
total gayos
It's all a bit repetitive . All the albums seem to be him searching for something that does not exist. Plus over use of reverb. IMHO
There is no reverb in this piece, nor the album it belongs to. It's all done through the saxophone + microphones attached to it and the one attached to his neck
This kenneth mayo is not me!!!
unbelievable
