    So many good printers to pick from now. Nice to see Creality actually advancing their printers instead of creating model after model with confusing changes and editions. The new CR-10 should have been this ender 3 KE but with 300 x 300 x 400 build volume.

      I strongly agree!

    do you happen to have a video breakdown of taking apart and most importantly putting the hotend back together?
    unfortunately i had to replace mine due to an issue with the thermistor cable , so it currently looks as yours does in the video!
    cheers

    Good to know they're keeping the Sprite Extuder. If they make the V3 in 30x30 I'll get one. maybe upgrade my printfarm to it.

    That opening was a freaking mouthful to say. I think you need a bigger basement, also, I like the wavy design of the fins, and I noticed they're much longer it seemed for better air cooling? Maybe that's why the fan is smaller? Doesn't need as much because the fins are more efficient, cool design, I do like the way everything connects right there

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  11 місяців тому +1

      Yea for sure. Bigger basement would be nice. haha. Maybe in like 10 years. Gotta be why cause they have room. But I guess they are trying to keep it light to move faster.

      @@3DPrintSOS oh yeah that's true too, cause thats got a direct drive so you want that whole thing light as possible right

    i cant wait to see more on the ke! I'm thinking about buying one when they come out my ender 3 v2 and s1 have been pretty good printers the ke is a big upgrade for the ender 3 series.

    I tried to use a V3 SE nozzle on my KE (dumbass, ordered wrong part), and the nozzle tip was actually higher in Z than the plastic guard around the printhead, so you can't adjust the Z offset for that. The leads were also shorter. I got the KE hotend. It set-screws to the aluminum cooling fins, and you have to roll the silicone sock down to get to the two small screws that tighten down to the cooling block as well... a fitzy operation.
    Agree with the 25mm fan being trash. I've already replaced the original when it started howling, and the new one is now making a low growl, after about 5hrs of run time.
    The KE does is a great step in the right direction, but the printhead design is leaving me doubtful...
    I'm looking forward to a 3rd party kit if one comes out.

    That fan I think is kind of trash. Mine started making a lot of messed up noises just after a few weeks of use. The hot end it self and extruded seams to work well together

    so i got an ender 3 V3 KE and its just not printing anything but a boat properly thats on the USB does anyone know how to fix this?

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  6 місяців тому

      That means it’s all settings in your slicer. You should be able to select PLA, drag in your file, hit slice and print. What slicer are you using? what filament? What is it doing exactly?

    • @HurleyCan1
      @HurleyCan1 6 місяців тому +1

      for the website i use cura, the printer boots up fine and im using PLA, when i try to print anything other than the boat on the usb it starts slowly pushing out the pla from the nozzle and it will just stick to the nozzle after a single layer has finished

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  6 місяців тому

      Dont use Cura with this machine. Download Creality Print from the Creality website. It supports this machine out of the box and has great print profiles that work amazingly well. @@HurleyCan1

    I am not really sure, but for my second printer I don’t know if I should save up for a bambu or just go with this printer. Looking at print quality + speed, what would you recommend since I think I saw you had a bambu in the background.

  • @sik05civic
    @sik05civic 10 місяців тому +1

    Fedor! Should I wait and go with the KE or get the K1? If it’s just the sprite extruder like on the S1 my concern is how it will print softer TPU like 87A sainsmart … or 85A ninjaflex

    • @sik05civic
      @sik05civic 10 місяців тому +1

      I print 95% of the time with tpu and I’m just looking for “faster” quality print times then my Aquila with a sprite hot end and ended 3 pro with a microswiss NG printing at a blistering 20mm/s

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  10 місяців тому

      TPU is tricky because both machines will still be printing TPU “slow” but the K1 is a whole different animal. It would be better in almost every possible way. Other than how much it would cost of course.

  • @mactibi
    @mactibi 7 місяців тому

    The K1 hotend wires are shorter than they need to be, and that is enough to make installation impossible. So if anyone wants a replacement hotend, this is something to be careful of.

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  3 місяці тому

      As far as I understand, the KE hotend is the same as the earlier versions of the K1/K1Max howend. The non unicorn versions. So, if that is the same as what you had, that should work.

      I would check the specs to see if the part number is the same. Otherwise, I bet it just says that because of the toolhead cover/chamber design.
