How To Share iPhone Hotspot With PS5

- You might want to share your iPhone's hotspot with your PS5, because you do not have Wi-Fi, or maybe it is down or you just simply have some mobile data on your iPhone that you would like to exhaust.
The first thing to do is to turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot on your iPhone by going to settings and toggling the button on. The name of the hotspot should be your iPhone's name and the password should be right under the toggle option.
Go to your PS5 settings via the interface ( I'm using my PS5 whilst connected to my LG Smart TV, but this process should apply while using any other TV as well, or even a monitor). Use your PS5 controller to navigate.
Go to Network and flick down on the left-side panel to Settings.
Under Settings, flick right to the 'Connect to the internet' option and make sure the toggle button is on.
Flick down to 'Set Up Internet Connection' to reveal a list of available networks. You should find your iPhone under networks found. If not, Click on the triangle button on your controller to scan for available networks.
Select your iPhone and input the password to connect to your iPhone's hotspot.

@@tt_._.elijah_cars just press the button on the controller while on the wifi menu. You might call it the pause button if you’re old school like me.
I didn’t have any problems with android, but trying to connect my PS5 to iPhone is sometimes impossible…

I moved to a place without internet, hotspot did not work at first. Then my friend came over and asked if we could stream a movie on his, his worked, so I tried mine again and it worked. This was on ps4. Never really had any issues or needing to reset anything. Switched to ps5 few months ago and no issues to start. Lately it’s been giving me errors playing pga tour with my friend randomly in the round and disconnecting, other games would work. I could even do downloads at normal speeds. Today I can’t even get it to work. Got it to work once on rocket league and now have 200 ping and can’t play when I used to have steady 78. I don’t get it and it’s very frustrating think I might give up
I need help also don’t give up on me 😂
