Hello, Nigel - Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I've heard that the delivery date keeps moving over here, too. Thanks again for watching! Best Regards, Joe
I just ordered the Super Elite. I know it cost more, but to cutsomize it to this level from the Elite would be MORE expensive than it already is. Plus the job is professionally done. And there is alway 'pride in ownership', knowing you have the top level product. You cant go wrong with either one. It's just a matter of what you prefer. To me, the Super Elites detail is worth the extra cash.
wow your review is so good and detailed and its from 2008 😱 i now know everything i wanted to know 😁 thank you and i picked some things up when i make a video :;)
Hello, Kevin - we always recommend that you buy cars you like. At that price piont, you actually have a good selection. Of the two brands you mention, Maisto is the more accurately scaled, but Bburago is a more collectible brand with a larger following. Thanks for writing!
I would not bother with this so-called Super Elite. There are only a couple of differences from the Elite version. Now if it had working lights and beacon and the underside of the car was diecast metal along with some kind of collectors certificate then I may have taken a punt. I'll stick with my Elite.
My thoughts exactly. Especially when compared to the Elite version of KITT or the BTTF DeLorean which do have lights and sound effects. In this particular case, more effort was put into the display base to distract from other features like the aforementioned that should've been there.
Thanks! We're just having fun with model cars. We do a live show, now, on alternate Sundays, called "Cup O' Joe". Check dcxmag dot com for more info, and we hope to see you there!

My god, this guy is a pro at presenting! I could get enthralled with anything he talked about.
A great piece of work!
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Hello, Rich -
Yeah, a lot of guys are sticking with the Elite. It seems to be the best "bang for the buck".
Thanks for watching! Enjoy that model!
Joe
That's the best part about having so many choices. Thanks for watching!

Great review! Thanks!
They forgot the red striping on the rear deck lid. Pretty big omission for a "Super Elite" Model.
You have dome a great job on this - Gene

Nice! Thanks!
How much is this car going around for now a days?
Does anyone know if the Super Elite's rims are a soft metal or just plastic ?
Does it fit action figures? If so, what size? Important to know.
Other versions of the Elite have pre-installed Batman and Robin 'figures' glued onto the seats.
I need that car!!!!!
Why is the Super Elite very expensive because I've seen one and is nothing special with quality.
hello generic geneskie
