Congratulations on the job, Eve - been following you since GCSEs and watching your journey from school to future job has been very motivational! Best of luck with it all!
Huge congratulations on the grad job! Sky News is insane as a first job and a personal dream of mine - sky sports specifically - so it’s insane to hear that you’ll be working there. It’s also lovely to see you thriving as someone who as been subscribed for literally the longest time. You’ve been on such a journey and while life isn’t linear nor absolute it definitely feels like you’ve started a new chapter nurtured by all your previous experiences and hardships. Nothing’s easy, but as a long-term viewer you’ve done so well and grown at such a realistic rate if that makes sense - and personally there’s nothing more motivating than that. As a fellow 20 something year old from Birmingham, I honestly can’t tell you how much you’ve inspired me. For that reason, while it is 100% selfish of me, I am so gutted at the thought of the future of your channel being rather uncertain, but of course you’ve got to follow your dreams - it’s not even up for debate! Looking forward to the Aus vlogs, and wishing you a restful April :) x
Hi Eve! You inspire me so so much as a Year 12 doing Alevels to keep persevering and that my feelings are rational and im not alone. I watch all of your study vlogs for a comforting voice and i love to watch you now as a reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel after exams. Thankyou so much!! Keep thriving :)
congratulations on the job!!! I remember watching your first year videos and struggles, and to see you at this stage now is just so wonderful! I am also just finishing my studies and then looking for a real world job... crazy how time flies
Congratulations Eve! And honestly I think many people can relate to your view on moving to Australia. I've never been and even though I think I'd totally love it there and I watch tons of Aus vlogs, I wouldn't want to move there for longer than a year or so just because I'd miss my family too much and I also love the proximity to different cultures here in Europe. I'm from Germany and I could literally just drive a couple of hours and be in a different country. I would totally move to Spain though or the UK. :)
I just want to point out that you can get into jobs like this through an apprenticeship/intern so if you feel like you can't get to where eve is you can!! ❤
Congratulations Eve! I'm so happy for you, you deserve the world. I've been watching you since your pre-uni days and now I'm going to uni this year! Congrats again, love you! x
Congratulations of the new Job Eve, that’s insane! Definitely not surprising though, you deserve it for the amount of hard work you’ve put into progressing your career🫶🏼 Much Love!💓✨
As an Aussie yes it is extremely expensive, especially groceries. The increase in the cost of living and increasing homelessness is common conversation with everyone these days. Real estate is out of control and groceries are costing an arm and a leg. I think London prices are comparable, if not even cheaper there to be honest.
From a fellow Black Country human, massive congratulations on your new role! 🥳 As a political nerd, hope there is lots of political madness on the horizon. ✌🏽
Congratulations on the job, Eve! So exciting xx I’m in my final year of uni and feel so lucky that I’m starting my dream job in 2 weeks! I’ve been following you for years so feels so weird we’re both starting full time jobs at a similar time aha. Good luck with everything!! 🥳💖
Hi Eve! Congratulations on the job role, that's amazing, you will love Sky! My boyfriend works at Sky Sports news as a producer and loved it. He started off on the grad scheme and has been at Sky for around 4 years. His commute is also long, however he says the job makes it all worthwhile. Good luck!
So amazingly proud of you. With regards to the channel, your life has changed so much and is it really something you can do moving forward or that you would want to do ? Only you can decide and whatever it is, you have our love and best wishes.
By any chance are you thinking of putting your talks to Apple Podcast? Just like this video, I simply turn it on and listening to it while I am doing something else, love all of your talks :)
I loved my Canon G7x mk ii, but I think they do deteriorate over time (defoccussing, zooming in randomly by themselves/doing crazy stuff with the white balance plus I came to hate the bangs on the plosives from talking close from behind in noisy public places like supermarkets. I really came to the end of my tether with it. I invested in a Canon 90D with a couple of different lenses (a wide one and and a zoomier one) and haven't looked back. I absolutely love it. The Ingham family use that one too. It's possibly a bit chunky and heavy for the majority of vloggers, especially carrying the zoom lens around too, but then I can always chuck the old point and shoot or GoPro in the bag if I really don't want the bulk in my bag that day. I kitted the inbuilt mics (much more stero sound then G7 Mkii as they are further apart) out with two stick on windjammers and they work pretty well. I think most go for an external mic with it, but honestly, I like the ambient sounds from the inbult mics and want to keep that in. Now I shall unpause and watch the rest of the vlog! :)
I went to Australia in 2011 but only to Sydney as I stayd with relative. . I have also been to New Zealand but only went to Wellington and again was staying with people. . Both trips ddid not cost that much because I was not paying for accooation but I did not get to trael round much which was a pity. I am thinking of going to Western Australia this year. Good luck on the job.
Congratulations Eve! Well done! 45 hours in 2 weeks does sound intensive so I would understand if you aren’t as active on UA-cam. Hopefully we will be able to keep up with you on instagram if that’s easier.

It's so refreshing to see a Brit visit Australia but not want to move there
I relate to what you said about Australia. I went to New Zealand in my twenties and loved it, but could never see myself living there. I love Europe x
So amazingly proud of you. With regards to the channel, your life has changed so much and is it really something you can do moving forward or that you would want to do ? Only you can decide and whatever it is, you have our love and best wishes.
This is insane news Eve!! All your hard work of many years has paid off 🎉

Hi Eve great news
I'm so happy for you. All the best with your journey this year❤
Glad you had a good time in oz but disappointed you didn’t do the west coast but the good news is that it’s super accessible from SE Asia 😊
Huge congrats - I don't know anyone more deserving!!
Good video
Do you ever feel guilty about the emissions from the flights?
Of course Australia is expensive after Asia....it's a first world country and Asia is a third world country 😂.
I always felt stupid watching this girl
Cudos to the people who do long distance aye 🥹
It’s so bloody difficult 😖
Can’t wait to see the Aus vlogs!!
