All other UA-camr's you are on notice. You can't call yourself an "influencer" when your tours of Sweetwater have mostly been about the boxes of candy. This is without a doubt the best Sweetwater tour I have seen yet.
That's the best Sweetwater tour on UA-cam. That young woman was a delight. Oh , Baxter did alright there too.
Didn't you notice when she kept saying or (mumbling rather) Mm...Hmm? She did that to me one day and I was almost ready to say something about it until I ended the conversation! She can be quite annoying. Most of the guys there are usually pretty cool but their patience level quickly fades if you ask too many questions and don't have much to share. But I've had a few good conversations about things with the salesmen there when I went.
Totally agree she was really cool.
@@TheBbtlegit She usually is. I just talked to her Friday afternoon while I was leaving a friend's house for his Birthday. I go there whenever just to see what's new on the market.

I was there in August. Absolutely fabulous and well worth the trip. We couldn't see the studio because Steve Miller was recording!
When Baxter slides down the slides at the end, it gave me flashback to the video Pink Floyd used in the 90´s when they played shine on you crazy diamond.

Made a trip from metro Detroit out there once and it was so worth it. Met my sales rep Nick, who gave me the tour. That place is incredible. It's borderline overwhelming. I need to schedule another road trip.

Being a bassist, I'd live in the bass room. Sweetwater has always done me right, bought quite a few bass, amps, accessories etc from them. Thanks for the tour Baxter.

I live about 3 hours drive from this store and took my family there for a day trip. My kids spent so much time on the slide shown at the end. If you are even remotly close to this store it's worth the trip.
Thank God I live in California, because if I lived anywhere near there I would be maxing out all my credit cards!! Very good video. I wish they had shown more of the electric guitars and amps though.

Alright! The Baxter Road Trip continues! I've only purchased TUSQ parts from them but I was VERY impressed by their follow-up process. I've been eyeballing their used guitars online... That place must be the size of the Mall Of America!

If I lived within an hour of Sweetwater I would be there all the time trying out guitars and amps. Where I currently live it's 3+ hours one way to an actual guitar store.

Spent a couple of hours there once. Five or six guys were trying out crank each other. It sounded like a really bad Pantera tribute festival. Left with migraine and vowed to go small independent stores from that point forward. To each their own
Love this video...! Having been down to Casino and talked with Baxter, I know that they are focused on the local NC guitar community and I do try to patronize my local shops for gear and service. That said, I do love dealing with Sweetwater. My sales guy (hey Matt!) has done right by me on several occasions where they had gear that no one locally could get (or sometimes hadn't ever heard of). I have family in the area so I try to make sure to schedule a day at the store whenever I'm in the area and would like to try to make it to Gear Fest at least once. The biggest shock for me on my first visit apart from the size of the retail area were the other shops adjacent to the retail store (cafeteria, hair salon, etc.). The rationale was so that staff wouldn't have to drive into Ft. Wayne to shop or get lunch. Will be stopping by in two weeks when I go visit my brother...

I visited the Sunday before their Monday Grand Opening of the new showroom... It's an amazing place!
22:30 I bought that ringligt for my daughters WFH setup (from Sweetwater).
The ring light was the only thing out of that room I can afford :)
I would need several days to go through that facility.The keyboard section, especially if theres a Rhodes or Arp2600 reissue there.Day two would be in the mixing section,I would have to be airlifted out of there just from going mental 😆🗽♥️

Hey Baxter, what is the pedal that that you pointed to and said "everyone in our shop has one of these" ?
That's a JHS Color Box V2 preamp pedal. It takes a lot of the tonal shaping and circuitry from a Neve style console and puts it in a pedal (including a pretty cool transformer). It works for guitars or microphones (full mic preamp circuit inside). It's combi-jack input accepts mic/line/instrument sources. It's also a direct box, so it has a balanced XLR out. Pretty cool pedal. No wonder it's popular.

He's the same height that I am - 5'8. I don't stand any taller than he does but she's short to some children that come in there when I visit on the weekends. I live fifteen minutes from there.
