As someone studying electrical engineering, why would the 62V Version be better? It's just more voltage. More voltage but less current doesn't make more power, but more voltage and same current would in comparison. Usually more voltage also leads to shorter range, if the power is increased.
These seem really cool. My rides are generally 80 to 250 miles in a day on dual sports. Thats the big issue for me is range. The shortest ride i do is a trail behind my house thats 36 miles. So something with longer legs is going to need to come along.
Wanna talk about a company listening to its consumers and making upgrades very quickly to their bike. Let's talk Talaria, I bought the first drop last year and not even a year later they come out with the Talaria R which fixes every single thing suggested about the first bike... granted they could still go 72v that would be nice but they did make their battery bigger after only a year so that's cool I guess if you managed to wait for the newer one. Lol I bought the original so it's up to keep to fix it up, granted that's alot of the fun with these bikes tho so no complaints really
@@chrisgates2047 the newer bike is supposed to have more pads to prevent battery rattle. I mitigated mine with a couple furniture pads, rubber bumper things and my battery doesn't budge now. I have a video about it
No shade to the designers, but this frame design (and the brand name) is a tough sell.. performance looks great though! Curious to see what type of riders go for this over a talaria or surron.
The names is odd. They should of called the brand Mantis. However, I think the styling is a good start. Wait 'till you see the supermoto version dude, it's killer
@@Hammymoto totally agreed on the brand name, and I'm hyped to see the supermoto version! My main issue with the design is the "Z" frame and headtube area. Not sure if they'll address that, but either way I'm excited to see!
I went with a surron simply for the community and amount of upgrades/info out there. Stock its not so great, but i already started ordering mods. I almost got the Talaria Sting R and sometimes wonder if I should have. That extra power would come in handy and for wheelies. Once I mod my controller and battery I'll be a happy man.
I thought the name Surron or Sir Ron or whatever, was a confusing name to spell, so wasn’t long term marketable. The fastest way to clear copyright laws is to pick weird names.
Bro I have a sur Ron and this bike is way better stock compared to a stock sur Ron I’m honestly thinking of selling my sur Ron to get this one better top speed and more torque and higher watt peak then a bone stock sur Ron for the same price
I would never buy this bike based on that seat dip alone. Make the seat more like a motocross and then I may consider it. It also needs 72v, 50+ah battery.
Other reviews state 39mph. You’re stating 50 but not showing it on gps. I think you’re just spouting out of the manual and not actually giving us a review.
I love how all the new companies coming out throw out 45 years of dirt bike design and geometry knowledge and basically try to redesign the wheel. This is all sarcasm... Cool bike but I never by the first edition of anything.
Definitely not dual sport motorcycle, it's a amped up mountain bike too, 100% bicycle brakes, bicycle suspension. Yes, people do want a bike this size built out of moto parts, but this isn't it.
Sur Run killer and it’s a 35AH battery? 😂😂😂 The weak Sur Rons came with 38. Now 40. Talarias have 45. This bike just gets worse the more the you talk about it. Also, this has 7.5kW. Talaria offers 8.5kW. You keep sayin it blows the competition away, but didn’t race anyone or prove it…. So how do you know? Those times aren’t always the most accurate or representative of real world numbers.
08:44 You're rippen. Glad to see you out there still having fun.
Sure am thanks!
@@Hammymoto Is that number a scam?
channel's back, nice
Welcome to the Rawrr Fam Playa
I just brought the 72 volt version!!!!!! That thing is so awesome!!!!!!

72v opens up more options on how you wanna ride the full charge. Giving you more speed and probably a better battery amp hour than the 60v as well.
Great video, honest, interesting, insightful review!!! 👌👌👌🔥🔥👊
Thank you!!
Aw what the heck! I would’ve showed up to the meet! Those looks socks! Awesome vid!

Let me say i got to ride this and a newer more medium sized e bike and both were amazing
Good work Hammy, I'd consider an ebike for trail riding. Not convinced about road yet. Say giddy to ya mum and dad for me. /Geoff from NZ.
4:22, my lowside ptsd for you kicked in lol.
Thank god no trucks around
Solid review
Can't wait for the 72v supermoto version
Totally
Haha had to do a double take on the Beaumont google maps screen shot lol thought that area looked really familiar!
Like the power straight out the box..
Buenas noches. En México donde la puedo adquirir?.
😎👍. I dig it
Do you have a rough estimate of range in sport only? My surron is about 15 miles on the trails. Thanks for the great content.
I would say it was around the same
suron is only good for 15 mi on the trails?

About to order a sting R, thanks for your comment. Hoping you see this to clear up a concern… does it have battery rattle?? I’ve heard mixed
@@chrisgates2047 the newer bike is supposed to have more pads to prevent battery rattle. I mitigated mine with a couple furniture pads, rubber bumper things and my battery doesn't budge now. I have a video about it
Hey uncle Hammy your discount code doesnt work and it didnt matter cause they dont seem to ship to Canada.
Great
I ll take the sur ron❤

I dunno if this with half as much power as my cb500f doesn't cost as much i'd rather get this over a surron
Road version would be interesting
Did he actually get 77 miles per hour or 77 Km per hour ? 4:40
does it have a brake light? my Surron has a tail light but it's not a brake light
Love videos,do more riding and joking around , , go drive whit friends 🙏👋

the sting r has all the same mods as the surron now
Drop the rr RAW! Better yeah???
Far out it's weird to hear a nz accent! Fully expected a murican. Solid channel though. Subbed
It pretty dam cool
Nice
Looks like fun, i can definitely smash past mountain bikers with ease on the uphills and feel no regerts.
Hell yeah
no chance a bike named Rawrr gonna replace the surron 😂
It might tho
I thought the name Surron or Sir Ron or whatever, was a confusing name to spell, so wasn’t long term marketable. The fastest way to clear copyright laws is to pick weird names.
Give it time. I think they should focus on the supermoto version personally. Make it easy to wheelie and get a bunch of hooligans to market it.

It will bro Surron becoming a bike for cuck boyz
Come to India and see our Ebike like revou, etc u can buy for 2000$ only and it's more cool

Rider weight plays a big factor. I'm a lightweight guy, so I got around 47mph on a full charge
$5k deposit?! No
Ooof that name 🤦♂️
lets do a mantis Link up
Rawrr just loaned me the bike, I don't own it lol
A 72v system would be epic.... Especially w/ street tires and a pedal kit. 🖤🖤
A pedal kit??? How are you going to pedal this???
Absolutely not.
It's for pretend pedaling silly
Price hike to almost 6K?
@@dickflinghammer2985 pretend pedaling for what? Just ride the damn thing.

Yes, you're correct. I should have specified that
It's actually spelled like that, huh
Yeeaaa..
Perfect bike for beta’s
It’s absolutely hideous and named rawrr. That alone got me to write this off as an option.
Talaria Sting R and XXX offers a lot more for the money.
It sounds like a an annoying mosquito😂😂😂😂
