@@deathstare0 that's not true. Linux has native support for OpenGL. Minecraft can directly interact with it without the need for any compatibility layer. This results in a much better performance. I'm playing 1.20.1, it gives around 160 fps on windows and 250 on Linux, same seed, same everything. It's definitely not just a 6% boost. Also not just in Minecraft, other games like Cyberpunk also give better performance on Linux for me.
Hi. Cool Video!! May I ask you how much ram you gave the game? I‘ve seen that you have 2x 16gb on your System. I have 16gb and gave the game around 10gb. But due to several (more or less bigger) mods I use I feel like even this could be more to run more smoothly. I have a rtx 4060.

TEXTURE
You can truly push the 4070 to super to some high limits. I am able to run BSL shaders in VR at about 89 FPS (Ultra at 16 chunks)
It's so gorgeous that you can see through the armor
download Continuity mod for patrix to look nice or enable connected textures if using optifine
@@JbuildsGaming thanks bro ❤️
2:00 this song...😣
This is amazing. I wonder what the performance will be on Linux since minecraft it runs much better on it.
😂😂
i dont think thats true, there some specific cases and versions where linux might give like a 6 percent improvement but thats it
You talk about java version?

Minecraft Prestige
Use Continuity mod pleeeease
simulation distance means more fps
@@CJNGCARTELsinistersmp more simulation distance doesn't improve fps. On the contrary, it's quite the opposite.
