This is so close to the routine I had when I had shorter hair (as in my profile picture). I love to see a man who knows how to take care of his hair. Don't know how I ended up here though, I'm not the target demographic lol, but good job.
@@SogaA Since I didn't like to wear short twist as it do not look good on me, I was the wash'n'go type of girl (I don't advice it if you want rapid growth as my ends spitted easily). I used to have a very strict regiment, but now I am more flexible and tend to know what my hair needs but, this what I did: Washday once a week (the frequency will depend on the individual) - bath oils as prepoo (shae butter, olive & avocado oils are the best for me) & light finger detangling or wide comb (sometimes I use a leave-in conditionner containing slippery elm & water to help me) - gentle shampoo ( I keep the big twists --done while finger detangling - for the "scratching the scalp" process and undo them at the end when I rince it out) - Deep conditionner (check the porosity of your hair: you might want one without protein) under a heating cap for 20 min minimum and then detangling process (using a brush and/or a wide comb) - Then styling ( the lco method: leave-in conditionner first and then an oil or a butter; again the order will depend on what your hair likes ) - At first I preferred air drying, but now I'm convinced it causes hydraulic fatigue, so I'd advice to use a dryer set on the lower settings, or a microfiber towel) In between washdays I am careful to watch if my ends go dry: if they do I either reapply my styling products very lightly, or use oil/butter to soften them up. My night routine was the same as in the video. I'd say you only really need 5 products: a good leave-in with slippery elm, a gentle shampoo, a clarifying shampoo, a good oil/butter, a deep conditionner Now if you're fancy ........👀 Excuse my English
This is basically like the pineapple method, but for if your hair wasn't long enough for that. Nice idea! Thanks, I'm gonna try it. Really love wearing my fro but it just gets so matted on day 2, hope this helps.
It takes two minutes and then you don’t have to do your hair in the morning and keeps your style for at least a week and you most likely won’t have to reapply products every day because your hair is not getting as frizzy so sets you up for less work for the rest of the week It’s really that simple.
Do you think it is a good idea to comb my hair everyday? bc I lose some of my hair and I feel like it isn't growing but at the same time I want it to be neat when i wake up
No I wouldn’t say it’s a good idea to comb your hair every day, You will be putting a lot of unnecessary strain on your hair, I tend to only pick my hair once a week, what you can try to do instead is to try to curl your hair or style your hair in a way that still makes it look neat, I would try to come your hair just a little less maybe go two or three days before you come your hair again, you can also substitute combing your hair with finger detangling your hair, this is more gentle and more delicate than a come or a pick
Moisturize your hair, with actual water and sealing oils, before sleeping braid or twist it after detangling. And sleep with it in braids. And do not comp or pick unless your hair is moist. I'd even go as far as detangling with water and conditioner in the shower and also don't dry by rubbing your hair, scrunch, and even use a t shirt or a silk towel. And wrap it up at night. Then when you wake up your hair is detangled and all you have to do is undo your braids and gently pick it.

Please I have some few things to ask I’m almost 1 year in my hair growth and I can do almost a full cornrow, the back doesn’t want to cooperate 😂but I realized I’ve been doing some things wrong which hindered my growth 1. What products to I need in all for my hair Is it Shampoo, conditioner, I saw some videos talking about moisturizing and they say use leave in conditioners. Does that mean I need 2 conditioners? 1 for miniaturing and one for deep conditioning or wash days Also what ingredients should I avoid in my shampoo and conditioner ? 2. For oils I’ve been using natural rose Mary plant that is used to make oil with Castro oil a hair braider made that for me I mixed it with my natural coconut oil but last week I braided my with oiling because I washed it 2 days before and now it’s been really itching. I oiled this evening and massaged and I’ve not been feeling the itch that much(could it be because we didn’t oil)? 3 . Can u deep condition or when doing poo method still use rice water? Do you wash rice water offf after and can I get my hair braided after using rice water
Hey, that was so good but I've got a simple question. I'm growing all of my hair out, and by that I mean I don't do fades or high tops. Will I have to put the back of the scarf around my nape? Will it still work?
Yo bro your vid helped a lot but I’m wondering how often I should moisturise my hair, when I’m the day I should moisturise it and what moisturisers are best (coconut oil etc)
you’ll get shrinkage based on your hairs curl pattern, there is no real way to stop it but there are certain products that you can use to help ur hair retain length… if you have kinkier curls like mine your hair can be very long but it still will appear shorter
Please respond to this, I’m new to the Chanel btw… my hair goes down to my nose but it lacks volume, it doesn’t look anything like yours at all or even a little shorter, how do I fix this
hey thx for the tips! I just have a stupid question does your hair still grow correctly when you sleep on your head? because I feel like it's stopping my growth since it's always flat when wake up
Hey man, what haircut did you get to get to that type of style? Did you just get a high top and just grew it out or did you get smth different when you started growing out ur hair?
anywhere from half an inch to 1 inch within a month of having braids in… using oil and keeping braids in is gonna help to maximize your hairs overall potential growth so you should see a visible difference when you take them out brother 👏🏾
Yo I got a question when a guy doesn’t have as much hair as you do will he have to still do what you did in the video are keep moisturize his hair doing all those other things to grow his hair
But even if I wear bonnet my hair still gets matted down I don’t get it what I’m I doing wrong then in the morning I have to use a hair pick to give my hair volume
Don’t know if you remember but I’m tryna grow my hair out while attending school in Jamaica.Just wanted to know if my hair is like 5 or 6 inches long can it still be pat down using a durag and will it still look like I got short hair without looking too untidy
Just dampen ur hair a bit, use ur fingers to detangle and comb it out as gently as u can, if u don’t have time u can always do it wherever ur goin to or just use a protective style using a leave in conditioner will also help
