now that I'm actually reading it/listening to it on my own I'm actually enjoying this! I think my teacher just isn't very effective for my learning style, and that in class it felt really boring. This is good and engaging storytelling.
yeah most books taught in school are pretty good - that's why they've stood the test of time. somehow schools find a way to make them feel uninteresting though
Man this audiobook is one of the best I’ve ever heard which is so important for Their Eyes Were Watching God, what makes this book different is the use of dialects spelled out in a professional published book so the person reading really paste attention to the accents and puts so much emotion into it. When I listened to the first part with the 2 girlfriends talking you could feel the happiness in the two woman talking through their laughing and the way she talks with teacake perfect
