We own a 2019 Houston DRV Mobile Suite an d have been living full-time in it since October 2018. It is by far the most comfortable RV we have ever had. Even made it through the "snowmageddon" in Texas in 2021!! No problems!! Even with rolling black outs it never got under 45 degrees inside when the temperature was 4 outside!! Best coaches 👌 ever!!
Q. I noticed 2 X 30 pound propane tanks on one side. Are those upgradable to 4K pound? Are there 2 X on both sides? I ask because on my old Airstream 23FB one of the pluses was the 2 X 40’ propane tanks, a huge plus in cold weather!
I absolutely love everything about the unique & roomy design of this extraordinary 5th wheel! How clever to make a little staircase w/ fireplace in front of it to utilize space, when usually it is a straight walk with a few stairs in a fifth wheel’s design!! This design “creatively breaks” different areas & I love that! Everything seems so roomy & I love the bedroom with a “open feel to it!” The kitchen & living room is huge too & I just love everything about this 5th wheel!!! The best part too, is that my husband & I could live in this full time! I so appreciate your giving us prices too, for many blogs don’t & we are all left trying to find it out! This is such a great blog/site/video! Thank-you so very much!❤️
We love this rear kitchen floorplan. Love the separation between the kitchen and living room. Love that the cabinets are all the same color. Like the sort of winding stairs. Love the residential washer and dryer. The mirror in the medicine cabinet is interesting. The one thing I really dislike is the televator. I’d rather have an entertainment unit there with the tv on a swing arm for adjustable viewing angles.
When I saw the fiberglass front cap that moved the edges way back to reduce the chances of leaks I smiled, by the rear end-cap I grinned like an idiot. When I saw the fully enclosed fiberglass underbelly… not a plastic sheet… I was up and cheering. I’ve seen a few NICE RV’s and 5w’s, but this is in a class of its own. Awesome everything! Edit. You said $175k, the description says $196k, and the refrigerator tag says $127,500. This makes it one of the best values I’ve ever seen!
We live in a 2005 Mobile Suite...we love it! I love this layout so much and wish we could have purchased this one but we didn't want or need payments...we chose to save so we could paid cash! So glad we did...but durn it...I love this one soooo much!
I just bought a 2003 to live in. It’s 35 ft and it still looks awesome. The family that sold it to me gave me an awesome deal because she just wanted another family to enjoy it as much as they did. Got it for half of what she could have sold it for.
Without even watching the video and I will I need to say this. If you can afford this you will not be unhappy and it will retain it’s value better then any other unit out there. My Father had said me I sold it when it for him took residency in Lower Michigan. He gave me a minimum and said 10% was mine after it sold. I not only exceeded his amount by 15k but it sold in lees then 2 week’s. So I will now watch the video and drooling over what is likely going to be a fabulous unit. Everyone has a dream and this is definitely one of mine. By the way love his videos on what is available and with the many different options Edit so after watching it was everything I knew it would be. By the way my Father had a one ton duelly Comings it pulled great but the truck looks so small to the trailer 🤣 the ISS axel’s road great he had wider then normal tires came with his unit. The appliances are just like living in your home. The same with the hard wood trim and doors. Again if you can afford it this unit is worth every penny

You do such a fine job as the tour guide for these RVs. This model is WOW and near perfection!! The superior quality frame with thicker walls, underbelly, and fiberglass alone make it worth the price. The kitchen with ample counter space, large frig, and dishwasher makes me envious and I'm gaga at the bedroom closet and larger chest of drawers in bedroom. Its arranged beautifully, including the elegant entry to the elevated bath & bedroom. Open, light, and plenty of storage. The only things I would add is: (1) removing one sofa and replacing with a double desk with file drawers. Why do most of them fail to include a desk & file? (2) a small vanity with lighted mirror and space to be seated to put on makeup in the bedroom. (3) a 2-way pull out tray for the cargo hold or basement. (4) Too bad they couldn't squeeze a half bath in somewhere. (5) I suppose we could add a solar package? (6) Did you mention the water heater - is it tankless? We just spent 6 years upgrading absolutely everything in our older 2012 , 36 ft Keystone Cougar to make it easier to travel, live off-the-grid, and residential. Spent 3X the cost of the RV to do it and agree that this beauty is worth every penny, although it weighs 2X more so I'm guessing we'd need an F350 truck to pull it.

I have seen one very similar to this, but instead of a loft, there is a bunk room where the queen bed is. You need that extra head space for the bunks. If I were traveling with small children, the loft could be a bedroom; however, you would not want to be trying to do things in the kitchen or watch TV after the children are in the loft trying to sleep. I would only want a loft for little children if you could close it off somehow. I do like the 2 full bedrooms though. They really need to find a better spot for a washer/dryer combo. No one wants it tucked in the back of a master closet where you can’t access it well.

I know that quality comes with a price. I certainly understand the concept with the ol' Holiday Rambler Mom and Dad loved but these.... these are an absolutely sexy machine with out a doubt!
This camper was a preowned model that I was selling for someone. Original customer paid $175K for it new in late 2019. Sold it same day I made the video for $117,000. Quality of this camper is amazing.

My choice for the full time purchase we're going to be making very soon if I'd quit procrastinating at selling this house/property of ours. To find one with the couple year depreciation scenario as nice as this would be the perfect and ideal moment of life when the time comes. Shopping for these damn things is exhausting!
As expensive as this is I dont like it at all... the path is tight into the kitchen, they moved the floor vents right into the walking path, the bathroom room swings using most of the floor space, and there isn't much walking space around the bed.
to bad no paint on slide walls and the heating rosters on the floor is good to collect dirt en water when cleaning, and the shades doesn't block all the light
Andrew - love your channel. About to buy a fifth wheel in the next month. Originally I settled on either a Jayco Eagle 321rsts or a Keystone Montana 3121rl. But then I found Dutchmen Yukon’s. Specifically the 400. What are your thoughts about Dutchmen Yukon’s?
The Montana is the only one of the 3 that I’ve had my hands on and it….it’s nice but camping in the winter…..I’ve had customers inform me that the heat doesn’t blow from all the floor vents due to duct work issues from the factory. Ty for watching Mike

I like almost everything about this. One thing is that the bathroom sink water doesn't go completely down the drain. There is always standing water. Why us this?
I have been looking at fifth wheels into which my wife and I can retire. I have seen a lot of really great floorplans, but I have to be honest, I am not crazy about this one. There are several reasons for this. One, the external storage is limited to that one pass through. That's not a lot compared to other models that we are considering. Two, that cupboard at the top of the stairs is weirdly placed. It looks like something that belongs in the dining area or at least nearer the kitchen. Locating it all the way across the living area and up the stairs is odd. Third, the entrance to the bedroom has you walking right into the bed. It looks like to get to the drawers and the closet you have to sidestep around the bed. Awkward! Fourth, I assume that the manufacturer expects owners to outfit the walk-in closet with their own drawers and clothes rods. There's a couple of very small drawers to the right along with the built-in safe, but that hardly seems adequate considering how much room exists in that space. Finally, the price is WAY out of my budget. I am pretty sure I know what I will be spending for my future home when the time comes, and it's a lot. But the models I have looking at are far superior to this one, especially in the areas I mentioned, AND come in about $75,000 less expensive. As much as I appreciate a few features, such as the use of such heavy wood throughout, the larger 40# propane bottles, the one-piece roof material, and the ease of access to the plumbing, I will pass on this one. But I did appreciate the video and the opportunity to compare it to the other units I have been considering.

We may not get that one because it is going to depend on what's available when we are ready to pull the trigger on our retirement. But that's the model to which we compare everything else.
I didn't see any hanging rod in the forward closet, just a big walk in. no shelf next to bed on right side (where to put your phone to charge?), cheap what, 3 inch couch mattress? and small bathroom. Wow, for $175k? I don't think so. Beautiful, yes, but not worth the price in my opinion.
Only one night stand? I sleep on the right side and always have a jug of ice water on my night stand. This kills that idea. Why so spacious and luxurious on other items and only one night stand?
That's the crazy thing about RVs. There is always give and take. They give extra storage in the hallway, then take away one of the night stands next to the bed. They give a dishwasher, but put carpet on the slide room floors.
The floorplan is great, but I've seen kitchens that are twice the size with tons more counter space and residential size ranges, what a pity that half of the comments are about the carpet, I think it doesn't have enough carpet, the living room and the hallway need carpet, I'm sick of everyone thinking that carpet is taboo, after wearing shoes all day long, I shouldn't have to wear slippers because of an uncomfortable hard floor, put carpet where it needs to be, rv manufacturers need to cater to everyone's needs, not just 1 group of people
What they forgot was how tired we are of seeing browns & grays in RVs. It’s very boring & drab. Ever wonder why so many people remodel right after buying? We want homey in a full-time coach!
As the owner of a 40 foot Class A Diesel pusher, I can tell you that 175,000 aint nothing !!! Here is the issue with DRV and other 5th wheel manufacturers that annoys the ____ out of me. They all have the technology to do carpetless slides. That technology is outdated. They all can use the solid flooring over the slide. Also, the floor registers in the walkway are FOOT KILLERS. Many other less expensive 5th wheels have the AC/Heat units in the ceiling so they don't have these eyesore toe stumpers. DRV makes a beautiful unit, but they gotta get with the game.
For the price I expected much more. A 2 seat dinette? No clothes rod? I've seen units much cheaper than looked better and had better utilization of space
The Grand Design 390rkr is nicer than that, bigger kitchen and a lot cheaper. I'm sure there's some things that are better on this one, but the Grand Design is still my fave.

I like some keystone units, but they are half the price for a reason.
If you want to sell a trailer open the damn shades a big selling point is how much sunlight gets in
HAHA. This one sold 2 hours after a viewer saw my video! I close the shades because it cuts down on the glare. Ill try to open them when I can.

I didn't see any hanging rod in the forward closet, just a big walk in. no shelf next to bed on right side (where to put your phone to charge?), cheap what, 3 inch couch mattress? and small bathroom. Wow, for $175k? I don't think so. Beautiful, yes, but not worth the price in my opinion.
Only one night stand? I sleep on the right side and always have a jug of ice water on my night stand. This kills that idea. Why so spacious and luxurious on other items and only one night stand?
That's the crazy thing about RVs. There is always give and take. They give extra storage in the hallway, then take away one of the night stands next to the bed. They give a dishwasher, but put carpet on the slide room floors.
For a cheaper price u could get a toy hauler with more room
O yaaaaa that slide floor will be no good in 2yrs or less. You would think that would change. Now the roof is nice
The floorplan is great, but I've seen kitchens that are twice the size with tons more counter space and residential size ranges, what a pity that half of the comments are about the carpet, I think it doesn't have enough carpet, the living room and the hallway need carpet, I'm sick of everyone thinking that carpet is taboo, after wearing shoes all day long, I shouldn't have to wear slippers because of an uncomfortable hard floor, put carpet where it needs to be, rv manufacturers need to cater to everyone's needs, not just 1 group of people

The only thing that's missing is a fireplace in the bedroom
Living room to TV is awkward, everything in bathroom seems squeezed in, not much understorage for full time living. Like the real nice finished wood.
What they forgot was how tired we are of seeing browns & grays in RVs. It’s very boring & drab. Ever wonder why so many people remodel right after buying? We want homey in a full-time coach!
This one was a used 2020. The new models have really changed inside and out. Ty for watching!

As the owner of a 40 foot Class A Diesel pusher, I can tell you that 175,000 aint nothing !!! Here is the issue with DRV and other 5th wheel manufacturers that annoys the ____ out of me. They all have the technology to do carpetless slides. That technology is outdated. They all can use the solid flooring over the slide. Also, the floor registers in the walkway are FOOT KILLERS. Many other less expensive 5th wheels have the AC/Heat units in the ceiling so they don't have these eyesore toe stumpers. DRV makes a beautiful unit, but they gotta get with the game.
For $175k they could eliminate floor vents.

For the price I expected much more. A 2 seat dinette? No clothes rod? I've seen units much cheaper than looked better and had better utilization of space

Not close to the Riverstone Legacy which in my opinion is a much better 5th wheel, nice unit though
Why the commercials
The Grand Design 390rkr is nicer than that, bigger kitchen and a lot cheaper. I'm sure there's some things that are better on this one, but the Grand Design is still my fave.
