@@allyssapowers it would be great to see a video on general grad school advice once you’ve been accepted like what the next steps are, what each semester may look like, what day to day looks like, course load, details on internships, seeing first clients, etc
Yes thank you so much. @allysapowers I just completed undergrad with a human services degree and look forward to applying for grad school in a few months.
How much would you recommend charging for the self pay clients? Even with insurance it’s around $100-150 per hour, would you recommend charging more than that? Thanks for all the info!
It’s frustrating because the same issue exists in healthcare and insurance: if you're struggling mentally or physically but can't afford treatment or your provider doesn’t accept insurance, you’re left to suffer. This makes the reliance on self-pay even more challenging. If your practice primarily operates this way, wouldn't you risk losing more clients? And in an ideal self-pay scenario, is the aim to boost revenue while avoiding insurance hassles?
So helpful. You’re one of the only channels out there putting out this kind of content and it is so needed
Thanks so much! Any specific topics you would wanna see?

I love this video. Thank you so much for making it. Although I have to admit, I find it kind of strange you have no pictures on your wall.
