I just made this today after discovering the video (and your channel) last week. Thought using baby carrots would make it easier, turns out those lads are even harder to cut up than a normal carrot. Won't make the mistake next time (and yes there WILL be a next time). Also, I substituted ground beef for the 'beyond beef' plant-based version. LOVED it!
I *KNOW* this is delicious!!!! Since I was a kid my auntie makes something similar and what a lot of people don’t realize is…the Mirepoix and cream cheese combined with the marinara makes the most flavorful, best creamy-tangy sauce ever, it’s pure chefs kiss!!! 👨🏻🍳 💋😋
Hola Jose how are you man? I really love ur content I just discovered you not to long ago maybe about a couple months but Mira tengo unas preguntas I was looking at one of your vids on YT when u were making the beef and cheese pasta and I was wondering after you chopped the oñon, carrots, and celery before you placed it in the pot did you add water to the pot or did you add vegetable/olive oil? And when you placed the pot on the oven to broil what kind of pot did u use Because I wanna try this recipe and idk if I should use a olla de presión or just a regular pot? Please let me know I already bought the ingredients yesterday :)
I spent a total of like 18 euros but the beef became pinkish when I added the creme cheese, prob because my sauce was not that red to begin with (I made my own sauce with fresh tomatoes), overall really solid recipe will definitely make it again.
I'll bet your mother had a real challenge on her hands to raise you! You have probably been funny like this all of your life. I have a friend who had a son who laughed uncontrollably every time she scolded him. She said it was so hard to discipline him without her laughing, too. The boy never took her seriously because she couldn't quit laughing either.
been watching you for a bit, been in a bit of a slump as of late, and my urge to cook anything have sorta been dashed, but after watching a few of your shorts I wanted to give them a try now ^^ now, without being more sappy. I am curious about the noodles, where they pre cooked before being added to the dish, or do you leave them dry until that point?
Yo Jose what's up man como vas? Una pregunta I really wanna make this but what kind of pot do u use when u put it in the oven? Can I use a pressure pot or can I use any kind of pot??
Does not take into account the electricity, stove gas, and maybe even cooking water (not to mention the labor, but we can always say we did all this out of loooooooove). But ok I guess.
What ? when youre cooking for family, you dont take into account those. only when youre selling stuff that you account labor and other stuff. like, why would you take those for account ? are you gonna make your fam pay ?
I don’t wanna be that guy… but you know damn well this is not going to cost you $20 in today’s economy 😂😂😂 It will cost you $35-$50 in today’s economy. Maybe once our economy goes back to normal 🤷🏽 I mean for fucks sake, you can’t even go to a McDonald’s without spending at least $20. That’s only for one person!!!
Jose, I made this dish a few days ago had plenty of leftovers too and it was delicious!!! The next day, it was even better. Thanks!!!❤❤
Heyy Chloe question did you add vegetable oil/olive oil to the pot or did u add water before you placed the chopped celery, carrots and oñons?
@@alexperalta601 I added avocado oil
Nice. You should make a playlist with budget friendly family meals.
Yup, I second this suggestion!
Oh my word! Looks so delicious and easy enough to make, thanks for sharing this budget meal❣️❣️❣️

That's a good idea!! Using the plant based beef. I might try to make this for my wife. She'll love it
Looks delicious. Looking forward to more budget friendly meals. Healthy would be nice, too. 😃
Your price summary makes me cry Canadian tears.
I laughed like an asshole at the 1.50 for a bag of carrots. If only.
🥲🥲🥲

Those prices are cheap, much higher where I live in Northern CA.
Yo Jose what's up man como vas?

I'm guesing that any special pot for oven will be good (one that doesn't have plastic)
Delisioso.
I can smell it through the screen...
Unfortunately, nowadays my weekly food budget is about 12 dollars (250MXN)

Eat grass then
Yes. Good recipe.
I would say it's pretty rare to have anyone calculate the cost of a recipe including the electricity, gas, and water.

Just wondering who ever considers those things? Why so picky? Lmao

Im currently staying in canada and didnt realise how expensive the rest of the world was, living in europe most of my meals are less than €10
@@samyeadon784where in Europe?
Do you mean for one meal or can you give me an example?
Most of my cooked meals also start from 20€
You dont live in a major metropolitan city! That chit cost twice as much!!! Still a great recommendation!
