    Thank you very much for this very informative video. I always wonder why the C-Melody saxophone was abandoned by all saxophone makers?

      The story goes that a C-melody was easier to play with the family around a piano on Sunday because no transposition. After the 1929 crash that market dried out and then everyone got a radio or a record player. I have a 1925 Martin that is a blast to play. Check Frankie Trumbauer on youtube!
