Only a weak man falls because of a women. Johnny was a good guy at heart, I think thats what really did him in at the end. Wish it ended better for him.

Yeah, Billy wasn't the only character that said it either and in fact, Johnny seems to have realized that by the end of TLAD story, but for some baffling reason, Rockstar decided to completely throw a lot of TLAD's story out the window in GTA V.

i wish GTA V had a DLC similar to Episodes From Liberty City. I don't care about GTA online, I want solo missions and new content added to singleplayer
Everyone wants that but Rockstar doesn't care and cancelled the SP DLC they announced years ago. We SP fans mean nothing to them nor to Take Two and it makes me really worried about RDR2.
The Dynast Queen yeah this generation of consoles has had only GTA V (not even a new game, just a xbox 360 game with better graphics), backwards compatible classics and now RDR2.
I think the departure of Leslie Benzies and some other people is the reason of Rockstar acting so badly.

give gta online a chance. its a fun game if you forget that its supposed to be gta. the single player is just a major downgrade from previous titles

you clearly haven't played the older games. i can give you a long essay review of gta 5, but basically it is a lazy game made to appease the lazy ign reviewers with short attention spans
One thing that marked me during my playthrough is a feeling that Johnny regrets living as he is. That he is a very damaged person. It struck out to me when you save the game. While all the other characters take a nap, Johnny doesn't sleep. He just sits on his bed. The only other protagonist that does that is Arthur Morgan.
Arthur does sleep sometimes but mainly in cutscenes. You’re right about them being broken characters though. Johny Klebitz, Arthur Morgan and Niko Bellic are the most depressing characters in any R* game.

I absolutely loved TLAD. I loved that despite the Russians being the main antagonists in GTA IV and its episodes, the main threat was Billy Grey. I thought Billy Grey was a outstanding villain, he was charismatic, sarcastic and just cold.
As much as I hated the way Johnny went out in GTA V, I thought it was a realistic conclusion to his character. Billy was right about Johnny, he was soft and his love for Ashley would be his downfall. Him turning into meth was tragic, Johnny was truly Lost and Damned.

TLAD was based on the show Sons of Anarchy and Billy was essentially based on the character Clay Marrow from that show who ended up becoming the main villain towards the end of the show.

I noticed the graphics are a bit different IMO. Other than having the grindhouse effect, the saturation is much more muted, making the whole thing greyer and colder. Similarly, I noticed TBOGT has much higher saturation and sharper images, making it the most colorful and crisp from the three.

Bright but cold in GTAIV to convey Niko's struggle and hope in foreign world
Dark and gritty in TLAD portraying Johnny's rebellious lifestyle and those who actively against it (Billy's posse, Stubbs, Ashley) and what awaits him in GTAV
Vibrant and colourful as it follows life of Luis and what shadows lurking beneath all the glam and glitz
Why ask my ID? Is that important? Interesting, I felt like they all felt different in some way.
Tbh I hated that effect thought something was wrong with the game

You can easily change the grainy effect by going to display and turning of what they call the “noise effect”
The Lost and Damned is incredible, the game is funny without losing the seriousness, Johnny is a memorable protagonist, and you have much more things to do, and the fact Rockstar mentioned the "Stories" games is great. It sucks that Johnny is dead.
Johnny's not dead :P GTA V's a bad, non-canon fanfiction in my book.
Takeshi the first time I played Tlad I imidetly I wished for a full game of it imagine being a badass biker with 100 missions a tens of side misions and other activities

super eagle there’s a fan theory that after the Alderney Chapter reorganized in San Andreas and Johnny became a meth head, Angus was killed because of that
One thing this dlc did was modify the driving physics a bit, considering you spent a lot of time on a bike. It was easier to handle and you had less chance of losing control when taking tight turns compared to the main games.
I was just about to replay this today after also replaying IV this past week!

Johnny walks slower because he had accident with bike. Luis is the fastest, while Niko is second.
And you can enter Nikos apartament from the backdoor(Bohan).

Thats weird. I find out that J. cant sprint long as Niko or Luis, even GTAWiki says that: "Johnny also has many physical injuries from a few serious motorbike accidents, many of those injuries he received are a broken nose or a lack of speed when walking, running, or sprinting."
Nikola Peh hmmmm. Nope. They all run at the same speed. Johnny and Luis are just reskinned Niko's. (Which is why they have the same melee attacks)
I hated how Johnny and Ashley were treated in GTA V. I enjoyed killing Trevor at the end of my first playthrough.
Sean Connolly kinda similar to Vic in gta vice city how did he go from what he was in VCS to die in the intro of vice city, guess the drugs and shit from Lance affected him like it affected Johnny from Ashley as he was sure trashed in that cut scene in GTA V
Theres always that thing called mods where you can modify how you can make johnny have a nearly dying/crawling animations. Im surprised nobody hasnt done that yet.
A lot of people are still upset about that including me as made no sense. Ash relapsing made sense, its what she does and thats why Johnny cut ties in the end yet in V Johnny continues chasing her and becomes a meth head? HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN? Why didn't Terry and Clay help? What happened to brotherhood? Its all fucked and I don't see why.
but trevor is the only good thing about gta 5 single player
The Dynast Queen yeah at the end of 4 he cuts ties completely and tells angus he’s done with the life all together there’s no “riding into the sun set” but suddenly in 5 for no reason terry, clay, and Johnny are in los santos, they’ve started a new chapter, Ashley is still around, and Trevor got Johnny hooked on meth and then kills him, terry, and clay like it was the easiest thing in the world nevermind they were so badass they rode into a maximum security penitentiary and killed billy grey and got out, and then the lost say Johnny was a bad leader and billy was better when billy turned States and didn’t give a damn about them in the end. It was all just a big middle finger to anyone who liked 4

At 8:10 you're wrong. The motorcycle physics were simplified for The Lost and Damned, at least that's what they tried to achieve. I actually quite preferred the Gta IV controls.

I remember thinking the driving for this was a bit better then IV. I knew I loved the expanded soundtrack adding more metal stuff
I just wish we had several outfits with the lost MC logo and of them could be the beta one we see in gta iv. A tattoo parlor would also be sweet.

I remember playing through this and only using the shotgun as much as possible to fit the whole Bikie vibe. Rate this higher than Gay Tony because the story was more GTA to me. Reminded of SA with family and betrayels.
i was pretty young at the time and having cash for only one i bought tbogt
years later i got the whole collection on pc and really wished i got tlad first, what a game, a lot of people didn't like it but it really broke the formula of gta games for me, plus showing the same story from three loosely linked perspectives is awesome and even gta 5 couldn't do that
Also gta 4 the lost and damn looks a lot better than gta 5 bikers update the clothing really looks like bikers with patches also the option to have any shirt or outfit ok you can't change like gta 5 but still better because you can only have one kind of shirt and the partche is very small in gta 5 and parche position you can only wear on biker organization that limit to wear the same clothing but in a patethic way
TBoGT is much more worth it, so i'd say that you made a good decision. TBoGT is much longer than TLAD and there's more and better things added, so you got much more for the money. That being said, TLAD is also good. So both is obviously ideal.

@@isthatmateo8332 mmh i think that which one is best is up to personal preference. But from an objective perspective i'd say TBoGT is better and more worth it. To begin with, it's much longer than TLaD. The story is also generally better and put more thought into than TLaD. There are more unique things added like: club management, fight club, base jumping, dancing, drinking, golfing, drug wars etc.
In TLaD its pretty much repetative gang wars, and that's it.
There is also cooler and better weapons added in TBoGT. From my memory there is also much more plotholes and things that make no sense in TLaD, compared to TBoGT. I personally like both of them, but my problem with TLaD is that they dont act like bikers atall. I think I would like TLaD much more if it was accurate to biker culture.
I am surprised people dont generally enjoy riding the bike in GTA 4. I cant get enough of it in the base game. TLAD was a happy surprise.
I loved this game, It was soo lame of whatever R* studio in charge to kill the character in V, soo lame, the scene, the dialogues, the meaning, its was soo useless form to give a fck about lots of fans that loved to play as Johnny and tLatD, that for me, every part of GTA IV its better than V, thanks for the awesome review, your work its awesome i love the channel

Johnny had more fun? I actually thought TLAD was darker, focusing ONLY on the seedier side of Liberty City and having less comedic characters. Johnny's also about as miserable as Niko by the end. I mean he's squatting in an abandoned crack dan, still tied to a drugged out Ashley, and his chapter is completely fucked.
I think TLAD has aged well aside the graphics. I love the dark and hardcore feeling to it. GTA 4 was overall one of my favorites. If they had more customization for your cars and clothes, it would've been perfect. Even the online was good. There was no pay to be better, even in free roam. Can't forget no alien weapons haha. I still think they did Johnny wrong. He should've went out with more style and guns blazing.

I couldn't get into this one as much. It was still good, but I thought the map kind of held back the story. It was felt weird being a biker gang in Liberty City. I think a game like this would've made more sense with a map like GTA V's, full of big, empty open road spaces.

The bike handling is not the same as in the main game. It's a lot more fleshed out and you really need to mess up big time to fall off, unlike with Niko.
It is the same for all the bikes that return from IV. It's just harder to fall off in collisions.

There is a group of lost and dammed bikers past Franklins taxi depo and next to the place where you can get a helicopter ride , you can sometimes see members on the classic style bikes entering the location and if you walk into a member sometimes they will say something then Niko so mayby Niko is still alive or they just heard of him from thier glory days anyway I thought this was an intresting find today and a little easter egg prehaps :)
Actually, I felt the bike handling was tighter in this game, with the likelihood off falling off reduced, especially with the Lost MC bikes.

The biggest flop in this game addition is the fact the game gets worse when you beat it. Since you lose your cool Biker gang hideout and functions. Like, why ever beat the game if it weren't for trophies/achievements!??

I got all three GTA 4 games in a bundle sale on PC. I played the hell out of GTA 4 on the PS3 back than, but I have to check out the DLC when I get a chance.

It doesn’t really require that much smarts with the money I waste a lot of it at food places constantly and waste a lot of ammo just by traveling off mission and I never run out on mission, I also have never had any trouble with the lack of protection from a bike
...I could never get into the player character, what with Michaelangelo from the original Ninja Turtles cartoon providing the voice...

Yes, Johnny is the slowest protagonist; had a bike accident if i remeber correctly; Niko is in middle, while Louis is of course the fastest, since he is the youngest and has spent time in jail, so he would workout alot.
Fun fact: Johnny has red, brown, white and gold wings on his jacket, with a meaning :D

One of the BEST DLC in all GTA games. Really good game to play if you are in MC world.
I cant play it on my new alienware :( it starts up and then it just crashes. I think the same thing happened to my GTA 4 but on there but I fixed it, I just dont remember how. I hate when game optimization gets outdated
The manual game saves I made ended up being my complete playthroughs of the games, so it took me four years to fill the spots:-).

I just replayed this DLC and I thought it was okay to Decent at Best. Johnny isn’t that compelling of a Protagonist to me and also the Biker theme gets old for me after a few missions. I do like Billy Grey & Stubbs as they are my favorite characters in this DLC but I wish they had a little more on screen time. Which I felt like the newer characters on this DLC are pretty one note. I get that it’s not a full fledged game like the Base game.

The bike of one has had more fun bigger one more better levels to not Nico had butt there is the best thing about it it is the Grand Theft Auto games but I did like Roy playing it and I like your idea you don't have to bite normally you get 3 games on one disc especially like later on the PS3 I had played on Xbox all the Xbox 360 but my favourite is the PS3 PC was pretty good too
