Making Henry | Caleb's Trains HO/OO

- This was definitely the most challenging model to date, and I'm sure I'll make a few modifications here and there, but for now here's Henry!
I know the whistle is probably the biggest deviation from his on screen appearance, but I kinda like how distinct it is. Subject to change though, we'll see!
Also, the background color change was not intentional, a strange rendering error that has somehow worked in my favor...!

I feel the way to describe Henry would be kind, yet grumpy
Henry is the most “real” character in that way. He has good and bad days, days where he’s sick, days where he feels over worked (strikes), and days where he’s kind.

it's hard to think of a reason why awdry hated henry, i love henry. this was a very amazing model
Just seemed to always cause trouble for him, I suppose!
Apparently Awdry got frustrated because the illustrators kept drawing wrong/drew him not like how he wanted Henry to look.
His model was also finicky.

I absolutely adore the unique whistle sounds you give all the engine whilst sounding different, you always make sure they stay fateful to the original.

Bit late on this one but I gotta say that Henry looks absolutely amazing just like the rest of your models
For some reason, the four stripes on the boiler looks a lot better than five.
Edit: the black fives themselves only has four stripes on the boiler so it’s realistically accurate enough for me.
I think TVS henry only has 4 boiler stripes anyway, so it works out! :)

Watching those complicated movements for side rods is very satisfying (:
Wilbert actually never hated the character of Henry. He hated that the illustrators had to mess him up so bad to the point where Wilbert almost decided to write him out entirely. Thankfully though, he worked with the character over the years and made him to be one of the best characters and arguably the biggest chad in the series right after Gordon. Wilbert's least favourite character to write with was actually James.
Banger after banger! This seemed absolutely difficult to make, but nothing can beat the James incident...Luckily you pulled through and made an amazing Henry model!

Another awesome model, but I have a small criticism. I don't think Awdry hated Henry, I think he is just the character that had the most issues. If anything, I am willing to bed he rather liked Henry after all the challanges he faced writing for the Big Green Engine.
I don't think he truly hated him either. I do imagine he caused him a number of headaches, though...!

awsome ;just a tip when i used spray paint id spray it on a plastic bag and grabed a toth pick and paint up the details
