First timers…..need to go to Hillberry, and sit behind the wall, 75 yrds up from the temporary grandstand, just at the point, the bikes turn into the corner, 2 feet from you’re head, at 150mph + and feel the shockwave of air as it hits you and the noise …..no better spot, you are literally at eye level with the riders ….. I’ve done it for years, I’ve lived here all my life, I’ve marshalled, I’ve been to a hundred different places, some as a local only we would know, but in 54 yrs that spot at Hillberry, takes some beating 👍🇮🇲👌
Hilberry was brilliant.. I was a foot passenger walked many places but only witnessed the madness In 3 places . Unreal amazing and i wish I was going this year
WOW! Never has any film or documentary given me goosebumps like this series and I've been going to the TT since the late 70's, I had to sit in the dark for ten minutes after that! 😂 The filming and narrating are just amazing, thank you thank you it really keeps me going till I get there again this year.
I live here…..I’m 54, I’ve watched it 3 times now, on TT+ , and now here……still gives me the same feeling , a rush of adrenaline in anticipation for this years TT…..I still get such a rush on that first night of practice, sat in the hedge.👍🇮🇲👌
First time I went to the TT I had tears in my eyes. Nothing like it anywhere in the world and watching the lads give it all . Mind blowing the bravery and the skill . They are the heroes of all sports
Been over thirty times.. first went wen i was 17.. 56 now..only illness and Gulf 1 stopped me going... Love it, adore it... i worship the place... Black n white kerbs means im in heaven...❤
I love this ❤I'm from Douglas Isle of man, and 52 absolutely adore the TTRACERS, I'm not 2 bad on a bike but these ladies are gentlemen, are unbelievably brave I. Still have no clue how they do it, thanks nice to see molly and Connor ❤❤❤❤STAY SAFE EVERYONE.
I’ve visited and driven the Nordschleife, old Spa course and even the 45miles of the Targa Florio- Unlike the Targa though, the TT course is still raced today and one of the reasons it’s on the top of my list of events to visit in my lifetime.
Oh yes…….the Spectacle……it’s never to be forgotten.👍🇮🇲👌❤️. One word, when you’ve witnessed it….” Awestruck “ 👍🇮🇲👌❤️. As ever, Thankyou guys for these superb vlogs….ps I’ve already watched. On TT live, it just feels like it’s going to a wider audience here…..and for that, it’s more exciting to know some people are seeing it for the first time…..⭐️🇮🇲
It's unbelievable, it's special, it's magical and it's emotional, you cannot explain it you have to experience it, ride it and live it.....once you've been you keep coming back year after year.
When you sit behind a stone wall and have bikes going past as fast as humanly possible the wind effect, the adrenaline that you feel as the lads going flying past is just so exciting. Also you can ride the course after the races have finished. The best atmosphere.
Nothing can prepare for what the TT is like I had heard about it for years but it wasn't until I was sat there on the bank at the Creg and seen it with my own eyes that I really appreciated it can't wait to go back
Went for the first time in 2017 It was amazing!!! And had a wicked week on the island even in the rain..... My hats off and full respect to all the riders
Can we get word to Mr Quayle to let him know that there is, in many peoples opinions (and definitely in mine), no better ambassador for the TT than him? For me, Milky is the TT, the passion, the skill, the racers spirit, the fans enthusiasm, he is the embodiment of what the TT is all about. Don't get me wrong, everyone interviewed and everyone who races is so unreal passion wise, but Milky IS the TT
We took a mate to the nw200 for his first time just up from metropole corner. Bikes topping out about 185/190. The superbikes (on their warm up lap) came past 5 wide across the road. It scared the absolute shite outta my mate. A cloud of sand followed the down them road.
In1975 i went as a spectator on my new honda cb750k2 to the manx gp, after a few years of club/national racing, i watched the manx gp, went home and later px'd cb750 for an ex charlie williams tt winning 250 dereck johnson maxton yamaha, raced the manx gp, age 22 y/o, 1976/77/78, and after that i went back to the classic manx gp in 2019 aged 65 y/o on my Yamaha R7 owo2, the emotional feelings and past memories were immense, a 41 year gap mind blowing,..

To anyone who rides, you cannot fully explain the feeling of the wind the smells, the feel of hard acceleration or carving a perfect corner. Now multiplybthat 10 times you get some sense of what it must be like for the gods who race this road at full speed. I can only imagine it, but i bet it is spiritual, lime the first time i saw photos of the universe from new nasa space telescope. It is grander than you ever imagined. How do you explain what love feels like, i havev ridden 40 plus yrs and am fairly well educated. Words cannot fully describe how i feel when i carve that one great corner flawlessly. I cannot imagine doing so hundreds of times at speeds that are insane. But thank god these guys and now great on board video gives me a slight clue.😊
The days of winter start to lengthen out. The sun comes out of hibernation. Sun in the morning. On the edge of sun being around when coming out of work. And the road to the TT begins. The long run to the mountain.
Love love Love the IOM TT , The UGP and all the other real road races that have preceded&post the TT have almost Vanished in Northern /Southern Ireland .NW200 hanging in once more.Who would have thought Ulster Grand Prix GONE .
Sitting here and watching this at home it self is giving me chills, can't imagine being there in person and witnessing these GODS racing in person. Hope one day I make it there to witness this in person, a dream for any biker.
If Lee sees this and is still looking to put someone at the pit lane 😂, I'm for the TT for the first time this year. I've been to Irish road racing for years but never the TT. I can't wait
