Once i had my perimeter fence in place, i took off the steel plates and boards over the windows and put bars on the outside, still gives security, but lets the light in and you can see out, any windows busted up by undead (dead?) vandals, can be jimmied out with a crowbar and replaced with unbroken ones taken from a nearby house. I also like to plaster and paint any wooden fences and buildings ive made, dunno why, its just fun to do.🤷♂😆😆
There's un breakable fences you can build, I think it's cheesy but I'm certain circumstances funny, I think it's wall crate wall or fence crate fence something of that nature

haha I'm always going around nicking other people's floor tiles - not IRL, obvs - and some of the houses have lovely ones! But to get to my point: yep, it'd make sense to pick up the tiles so that they don't go to waste for future building, unless we know we're not going to need them. Our Bessie's a wasteful young lady!
