  • A selection of three favorite songs from 1967. This selection consists of less well known songs from top groups the Rolling Stones, Hollies and Pink Floyd. Details:
    1. Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday. The Rolling Stones, known for their "loud, aggressive" rock" music, also produced some rather lovely music such as She's a rainbow, Angie, and this one.
    2. Hollies - Pay you back with interest. The Hollies also had lots of hits. My favorite remains "I'm Alive". This one is also right up there.
3, Pink Floyd - See Emily Play. The first or second single from Pink Floyd. To me it's one of few songs from the era which could be classified "psychedelic". (or "other worldly") Pink Floyd actually became famous for their albums, with few hit singles.

Thanks Kim, for the suggestion. To be honest, I've been discouraged over the years by many copyright strikes on my preferred 6-20 song vids for albums, artists and years. Which is why I've resorted to 1-3 song vids which don't have much appeal. (They are only my opinion after all) But I get a kick out of doing them.

Thanks for the encouragement Mac. You probably wouldn't enjoy meeting me as I'm too "serious" for most people, too transparent.

@@60sfanatic Ted B, I'm serious about my communication with anyone, anywhere, anyhow! 'Be slow to speak and quick to hear'. I live by that scripture. That is straight up Word of God, I exercise it every day in the doing. The Living Word never fails!!! I'm not really a people person, I communicate with machines and data for the most part, but it ALWAYS works with people when led by the Spirit of Almighty! Isn't that what it's all about for us who are more informed than others? I have witnessed many instances of the Grace of God expressed in the physical if we will only answer His call.
      Best,
      Mac

@@60sfanatic Ted b, re your previous sent, 'too transparent': in most cases it seems the descriptive is used in the perjorative. In your case, and based on our previous com including Wilcox in Newcastle, my assessment, for what it's worth, is this. What you see is what you get. It doesn't get better than that! That's truth with no deception. Keep on brother!
      Best,
      Mac

@@macmclean1175 Thanks Mac, much appreciated. Yes, that is what I have always wanted to be. Or as Tina Turner puts it, "What you get is what you see". I guess I hate fake just about more than anything.

@@macmclean1175 I find it very difficult to "draw people out" as it were. They seem to be so secretive these days....unless they are angry. Men are known for repressing feelings. But I can't see that women are much better. I expect it is indicative of an underlying insecurity. Which isn't surprising considering the godless, fake, destabilized world we now live in. I have a video which says it all, "Lost in a lost world". We certainly need "Scripture" to keep us "on the straight and narrow." But even "bible believing" Christians forget that we cannot correctly understand it apart from the Holy Spirit within. I expect you will agree that we must have both "Logos" and "Rhema".
