For example, Tempura, which many believe has its origins in Japan, was the Portuguese who took it and taught the Japanese; in other parts of the world, such as Thailand, their modern-day cuisine is based on multiple products that the Portuguese took and made known to the locals, many of these products are not even typical of Portuguese cuisine, but it was the Portuguese who gave them to be known and spread throughout the world.
Other examples of this include Curry (the dish, not the spice, as some of the ingredients did not exist in India until the portuguese spice trades), Hawaiian sweet bread (inspired by "pão de leite" or "milk bread"), tea time in Britain (tea only became mainstream because of a Portuguese princess, Catarina de Bragança, who married King Charles II), and some other examples I'm probably forgetting fight now.

Portugal has the best food in the world in my opinion
