i love how he explained it. It helped me alot thanks alot 3run ;)
tnx u ppl....you are best i love 3run
Dude that is so beastly- its gonna take me forever to learn
That was a great tutorial on The B-Twist Mr. Andrews. I would like to practice it as well, which I will in time.
Ok, ive tried looking at the ground. I saw it, but im usually really close to the ground. But after seeing a couple more vids, i found out how to get higher. Thanks for the shoulder tip tho, it really helped. Still fell once tho, but i got it after 3 tries after reading your comment
thanks man!! this guide really helped me out, i succeed doing this after a few days of training as a green belt karateka ;)
You made very straight forward thanks man
@Angelbikost
thx for the fast replay... gonna try it next summer ... here in austria it's to cold ...
If you feel it like that you need to get more height or you can be low and twist faster, should get a feeling of continuous motion and 'float'.
Without looking at your b-twist I'd say lift up your leg really high and twist to look over your shoulder to spot your landing. when lifting the leg you can have it straight out or tucked as if kicking the back of your head.
If you tuck it you may automatically throw out a kick which looks super dope imo.
gonna try this on monday in gym, looking forward to that :-))
@ParkourDenver thanks..ill keep that in mind when im doing it...should i learn it on a trampoline first?
thanks for the tutorial i almost do the b-twist and all is because 3run help me with the tutorials
Great tutorial
Thanks 3run. Though i wish i can do it.
But i'll do it anyway !
No pain no gain people!
3run tube u rock
Its so well done that looks easy. pretty cool move :)
thanks 4 da tutorial man!
awesome!!!
Cool!!! Thanks!!!
@thevu62 yea hes right i taught myself and it doesn't take long just start off on trampolines and pools and work your way up
@whatabeastism your under rotating then, try dipping more, whiping your legs and throwing your arms and staying tight in the air. I had the same problem but those things helped a lot. now im working on doubles.
Much love from Colorado :)
cool man. i love butterfly twist:X
which leg do you push off?
the stronger, favourite one?
awesome
thx man
great work people. keep these videos comming
@UchihABitachi by saying i spin to fast i mean that i don't notice the floor in time and over spin (im not chickening out) im going all the way with it but i go to fast. i need to figure out a way to slow down my rotation lol
good short tutorial ^^
best tutorial
would a trampoline be a good thing to FIRST practice on?
just so you KINDA get the feel of it?
@MrPredatorix idk why that is. 3run helped me learn alot. maybe its a dedication thing?
Alright thanks- that definitely helped.
omg that was wicked, reminds me of Matrix and such (i will probably never be able to do any of these kind of things, but its still real insperational)
Good tutorial. Ye make it look so easy hehe
OMGGG HOLY SHIT I just landed my VERY first Btwist ^^ thank you 3Run, THANKS
@whatabeastism the aproach is hard on a tramp. it feels slow and bouncy but to work on the whip. yes, get the feel for rotating sideways and spotting the ground from the side. i personaly didnt learn it on a tramp so I couldnt tell you what beginning the experience would feel like, but judging from trying them again on tramps after landing them on the ground, it will help a lot :)
tahts fkn awesome
tks bro
@bboymadmike not necessarily (unless you do wushu) but a great butterfly kick will make your butterfly twists look way nicer. Its all about pointing your toes and keeping your leading leg straight
I am happy becus i made it!!
wow u 3run guys can do nice tricks
@MrSean12341 That really depends on how fast you learn and how long you practice for in a day
this was so helpful got one on my third try
@thebsenior its the english version of a butterfly twist. which isnt surprising really when you consider that hes english.
@alexowee1 You either need to turn 180 degrees more, or 180 degrees less.
if you want o land one foot at a time just step down. if you want to do 2, you have to spread your legs into a bull stance so that you dont lose control and can land with stability
sweet man
very good
@MaxBMWillian
I couldn't too but you musn't be scared and gain height with pushing your leg up.
i feel like with ur landing you could ganor out of it. would be a sick combo.
thnx dude....i learned that in 20 minutes....:)
is it easier to learn the butterfly kick first before the twist?
Do i need to require the butterfly kick to be able to perform this move?
it's very easy i'm learned it in 5minutes i fully landed it :)
this is the first time i've heard about the arm thing, so that must be what stops me, gonna go try it RIGHT NOW...
and hope i don't die ;)
Hey watz da best surface 2 try dis on soft or hard?
now i can do this !!!
same thing... I end up doiing a kick. Maybe b/c i focus too much on being nervious of landing. I attempt once more the other day and I end up rolling on the ground instead... Is bed the best thing to practice first or should I go on hard floor?
Damn, now thats cool.
I want to try parkour so does anyone have tips of what trick to start with
Any tips on how i can get my body even when i get up in the air i get the twist but my body is never even one is higher then the other how can i fix that?
really good
Five *****
do i have to nail a butterfly kick first?
the only trick i know is b kick
but recently im trying to learn a b twist
but instaed of that by ac cident i learn a illusion twist
plz tell me why
i have had the same problem but heres what you need to do when you get in the air really tighten up, like cross your arms and dont open your legs as much as you do with a b-kick and you should start to beggin to spin...good luck
@markwoodland1 congrats, it's a simple thing that can be applied to anything, people just don't realize it.
yall should make a vid with the front flip agianst the wall trick...or side flip.
nice...
Hey, what about kicking leg? If it chambered, woudn't be the problem in double b twist?
Do you chamber it?
i can do a b kick but when i try the be twist i spin to fast and can't land it any tips?
me neither, doing the spin n stuff but cant manage to land... have problems to stop rotation to land...dont know when to open body to stop rotation. I overrotate and therefore dont land
nice!!!!^^
hey guys, will this trick help me with the corkscrew?
plz reply
@VampireNuB no it does't lol, it just means you need to spin quicker, try learning B-Kick first it helps and it's easier
i agree
i have practised the Butter fly Twist for a week now, but I seem to be having the result look like a slanted Aerial. Any suggestions of what I should improve?
how bout the opposite side? will it still be twisted? bcos i'm not used to the clockwise spin..
Once summer comes and schools out (about 50 or so days) I'm gonna spend my entire summer learning to free run like a pro
muito masa
If you wan't to get feel for it just practice b-kicks until they are high and floaty. Then just proceed to b-twist by twisting in the middle of b-kick.
how long, with everyday practice, will it take to land this ??
coooolll
And the point:
Turn your head! This makes it really easy.
I'm 24, can i gain skills in these movements? Or its only applicable to those who start practicing in since they were young?
Note: i used to have skills of beginner break dancing.
@TroySpartan247 you spot the ground after the spin
cool
is it like aerial twist???
u need to use ur arm to rotate so try adding more power to the twist
Mane when my leg gets better I'm try to keep working on this one last time I almost had it :p
I'm working on my aerial....... Sooo wanna learn this xD
@tomEwylde It's a good idea, since you learn the dip-and-jump technique from that.. Same idea in the b-twist, but with a twist! =D
please someone reply to this
i can do alot of moves except for the b twist and cork (because cork is cheat gainer with b twist) when i try a b twist my body goes into like a double leg postion, i can't break the habit so i flip instead of spin, anyone got any tips at all, you don't know how much i would appreciate it i've been trying for like 4 months now
How do you tell if your b twist is good or not?
@graffiti199704 The key is to look at the floor when your doing it iF YOU KNOW your about to mess up put your hands to the ground
it may sound really easy but to actually do it is really hard. I've been learning for a while and only recently have I've been landing it
How long does it take to get good at this? i have the problem of getting into the twist, but end up looking up at the sky, and not twisting all around to land it.
@Urfriendphoenix exactly!
