    The key to this move is to focus on how HIGH you kick your leg before take off. It's really annoying how in any tutorial they always say to kick "hard" but you can kick as hard as you want, if you don't get that leg up high you won't land it.

  • @Rockster160
    @Rockster160 15 років тому

    If you don't lean it's called either a "Straight" or a "True" Gainer. A Gainer Flash is when you land on the same leg you take off on.
    Example: Notice how Adam, in the video, jumps off of his Left leg, but then lands on his Right. A Gainer Flash would be if he landed on his left leg as well as jumping off of it.

    I quite like the tucked version, looks like a gainer going into a side flip

  • @a2ment
    @a2ment 15 років тому

    To build up for the move, try kicking to the side so you dont go all the way over.
    Then try going into a backhandspring, and then finally just go for it!

    Yup! Parkour is a method of getting from A-B. As the time goes by, Freerunning emerges. It is more on how you perform a trick over an obstacle using various styles unlike Parkour that focuses on efficiency. Freerunning is somehow a combination of Parkour, Tricking and Break Dancing. And this video talks about a particular trick of Freerunning :)

    @TheFreeSixty If you wanna do 2 in a row then you use gainer switch (change the leg in the air like double flash kick)

    Oh thank you. Still If I had to choose. I would choose parkour. Seriously there is no tactical point to freerunning away from dangers or to an appointment. People around will be like whoa thats awesome, but what purpose would that serve other than as distraction? Parkour is the best choice. In my opinion.

    @tsunam1Lake no, parkour is getting from point A to point B as quickly as possible, freerunning is more kinda flips and just doing what you want and feeling it

  • @Loucciano
    @Loucciano 12 років тому

    You need to focus on jumping up instead of back. Throw your hands up to give you lift. Kick and shoot your hands up in a swinging motion

    ahhh but if you had to dive over a railing or something than you wouldnt want to land on your head would you? so you finish the flip
    and if you had a spranged ankle or something and couldnt jump over something go at an angle and use the spranged ankle as the pendulem?

    hey man, I've got a question because I think I'm doing it all wrong. Would you be pushing off with your dominant leg and swing with your weaker leg or is it the other way around?

  • @gravity_child
    @gravity_child 15 років тому

    Nope. Lol, at the end of the video, I said to myself, "Man! This is NOT a slant gainer!" The reasons are subtle. The one that stands out the most would probably be in the slant gainer, you "crunch up" when you're sideways, then land. In a moon kick, it's basically a sideways gainer.

    ok so its the first one with the cool guy in the white shirt haha take care and u wont get it straight away just keep practicing and you will build up your underarm muscle and u will be able to do it and start with your legs pointing up like toes to the sky lol so your legs face up its easyer like that as your not holding as much weight
    take care

    viceversa : freerun can be a form of parkour because you add to your run all those (unnecessary) flips
