Epic Gated Long Hydraulic Elevator at the Elmhurst History Museum Elmhurst IL 4K

(5-26-2022) I have seen alot of cool elevators but this was just epic. Judging by the COP it seems as if it was originally going to have power doors as there is a Door Open button there, however for some reason they went with the gate instead which I am NOT complaining about! This is epic and the little museum is cool as well!

First time it came across a Scissor Gate on an elevator was at the Sather Bell Tower on the UC Berkeley campus. Somebody took me up there when I was a kid, unfortunately that elevator has since been replaced.
