- (November 2022) Here are three interesting Otis traction elevators in the Red Parking Garage at the Oakbrook center in Oak Brook, IL. These have a really interesting sideways style call button that I've never seen before. They also have the larger angled series 1 panels which is kind of neat.

Very nice Otis Series 1
I never seen that style of button before!!!!!!(Call Button)
I've only seen it at this mall.
Installed in 1991 during the renovations and additions
Really nice. Also really unusual to have no lanterns and/or u/d chimes.
These are the best parking garage elevators in the mall in my opinion.
Yeah I agree
@@stlelevators amazing elevator could you do a daytime video of these elevators
These are Otis Elevonic 401s.
These are one of many of my childhood elevators at this Mall. These elevators are a lot of fun to ride!
I've never seen a sideways call button before.
Very nice parking garage elevators
I got to film these elevators in October 2018, but was grounded not long after the recording. The video was left intact, allowing me to upload it without getting caught.
It's outside of Nordstrom
Yes
I took this elevator from G to 4
Older series 1 was probably modernized by long
It wasn’t
sideways call buttons are different.
These elevators are fucking GOAT
i have otis series 1 car panel but idk what to do
Press the buttons on it!
@@stlelevators I want to wire it up but i have the clicky kind of buttons so they need a controller
Elevator information:
Brand/Company: OTIS
Buttons: older Series 1
Door type: center opening
Number of elevators: 3
Number of floors: 6 (G, 2-6)
Amazing and Epic in my opinion! I love older Series 1! Very nice elevators too! Are these bottom drive or overhead drive?
The machine room is above the top floor. The top of the elevator shafts.
Oh ok, is it bottom drive or overhead drive? That's what I'm wondering
@@BuildingToursForLife1660-4 I have no idea.
overhead
How can you tell?
