Great video, and congrats for the send! I'm curious how did you film that, as the frame follows you very smoothly. Did someone film you or is this some kind of smart setup?
Thanks! I set up my camera vertically on a tripod making sure that the whole route was in frame. While editing it was just a case of zooming in to fill in the screen.
Thanks! I’ve got particularly strong fingers for the climbing I do. I usually test above 200% of body weight on a 20mm edge. However I think 150% is probably more than enough to climb 8a if your climbing technique is good and you are reasonably fit.
Great video and great storytelling! I'm glad the preparation paid off!
Love that kind of climbing videos with lots of information and analytical approach.
Great achievement 🎉🎉
Beast. Well done Cris! 🤙

Bro...... you cruised it after a couple of tries! You should project an 8b! Congrats though, hard work paid off!
Thanks!!
Congratulations 👍
Thanks!!
@@RoadtoV11your training seemed like sth preparing for an 8c😮 I can say with 100% certainty you're stronger than it's needed for those grades :)
@@middle-agedclimber haha thanks!
I would love to Red-Point a route like that at one point. I just need to move closer to climbing first😄

@@RoadtoV11 Got it, thanks!
wicked.
How strong are your fingers compared to your body weight? Do you think 150% on 20mm is enough strong to climb 8a?
Also great video
