I had a feeling the Deavabad finale would make the list of 5s! I recently read The Pillars of the Earth. I gave it 4 out of 5, but on retrospect, tho I was satisfied, I doubt I'll go back and finish the rest of that trilogy.... because I'm leaning into my Epic fantasy phase once again... my imagination is wondering the worlds of John Gwynne, Ryan Cahill. Robin Hobb, and more! I just want magic, dragons, and animal companions! I'll switch genres from time to time to cleanse the reading palette sort of speak... perhaps a mystery... I'm re-reading Gwynne's The Faithful and Fallen and the sequel trilogy Of Blood and Bone... I'm saving Bloodsworn for fall when the 3rd book is released. I'm so excited. I hope you enjoy all your 5 star predictions! 📖🥰📚📚📚📚
Oh I love the discworld series. I’m doing a reread at the moment. I think guards guards and mort are both good choices to start with so hopefully you’ll both enjoy them. I’m also hoping to read as long as the lemon trees grow this year.
I've read: I Must Betray You, As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow and Almond! All above amazing imo. I'm muslim, arab and romanian (plus I LOVE historical and or literary fiction) so they were easy wins! I must betray you felt like experiencing my family's, my nation's history from a first person perspective. It was really touching for me, 5 stars. But As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow is another beast. One of the best books I have personally ever read, really beautiful and heart-touching but also so so tragic. I felt Salamas's (the main character) internal conflict so much (and I imagine you will even more as a Syrian). It has an overall hopeful tone, but man..., be ready for a gut punch! Obviously 5 stars! The last one I'll say that it is more about the character's mentality and rare case, plus this friendship he has with this flawed other guy. It was a good book but I had a few issues. 4.5 stars. (I'm excited to try S.A Chakraborty after hearing you talk about her btw ♡)
I thought very highly of “I Must Betray You” and would like to read more of the author’s books. And, by the time you’re reading this comment, Eid Mubarak!

I second the “Guards! Guards!” Recommendation. It was my first Discworld read and I love it so.
😊Your videos are so calming to watch😅
Ramadan Mubarak!✨
Happily surprised to see Battle Royale. Really excited to get into that one!

aye! at least you had some 5 stars this time around!! Also Ramadan Mubarak :D
I have a video on the Pillars of the Earth on my channel...and it gets a lot of hate 😅 but I totally agree with you!

You should read "Dark Seduction" by Michael Wilcox. It has a Muslim girl as a main character in it. A very good book
Being Mortal was not a 5 star read for me either. Thank you for recommending Battle Royale, I'll be reading it soon.
ودي اقرآ فانتازي لكن أغلبها مليانة عقائد شركية استغفرالله
You hated Pillars of the Earth? Why? Myself, I found the book to be great!
