Last year I tried the SIGMA routine, waking up at 4 or 5 am, took a cold shower, exercise, have coffee, and some other stuff as well. By the time I was done with the routine and it was my time to actually study and be productive but I was tired and went back to sleep at around 10 am. As a student the only things I consider as being productive is attending classes, studying and practicing previous exam questions, any other thing is just dilly dallying, but the routine was fun though, felt nice doing the routine but is not much helpful if you want to actually get any work done. But its good if you want to change something in your life and feel good about your life.

Thank you for this video. I decided to give myself the freedom to experiment in the morning and not have a pattern. The only pattern I have are the simple things that I like to do in the morning and I have never taken away, such as going to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and face, having a nice breakfast calmly while reading or watching cartoons. I was stuck in the rigidity of the morning routine and in all those limiting beliefs "if you don't have a routine you are a disorganized person etc". Let's free ourselves from these superstitions, do what makes us feel good and resonates with us in that moment.
I'm much more productive if I dont have my goal split in diffrent directions, like having habbits that take time to build that are supposed to help u be more productive but take so much time to build that they become burdensome and counter productive. I discovered this a few days back and it's crazy how this vid appeared lmao

This is why i cut down my 3 hour morning routine to just 15 mins. Im really bad at time managing ofcourse because of procrastination. But if you want a good mental health you need to follow those morning routine. Im freakin stressed with all those books around me but still i have to do that!
Long morning routines just distract me. I wash my face, put my clothes on, have my breakfast and start. The longer I wait to start, the more I get sluggish
we also like the insane "5 am, cold shower, running, meditation" routines more because it gives the people who aren't getting anything productive done first thing in the morning a reasoning to say 'ah, I didn't do that routine so that's why it's not working for me', whereas the truth of just having to sit down and DO IT is a real hard one and will often be faced with the criticism of "just be happy bro" or "just learn bro" but essentially just starting is the answer, it sounds too easy to be true but it is.

Sure i would get more done by skipping my morning routine, but maybe because im autistic, without my morning routine I won’t even do the work, I can’t. I have 0 motivation and happinesses to do them unless i have my morning routine that boost my happinesses 🤷♀️
