The best horological experience I have ever had. I think this allows collectors to get the most of their money in a dream watch thatbis relatively affordable to what we get. Thanks Bill for the organization 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks Brian; I think it's important that everyone understands who we are... both the watch enthusiasts and the Swiss watchmaking community. Take care, Bill
So happy to be part of the new batch. This is exactly why I joined the group - I simply don't have the resources to get a watch of this quality and craftsmanship from the high horology independent brands. For the price of a basic Rolex, I'm getting a true heirloom of horology that is a dream piece for my collection.
Another very interesting video. It’s so awesome that the group was able to produce such a magnificent watch. I’m curious how the second version is going!
Like the Chopard LUC 1860 LUCENT. It has a Geneva Seal. Love this watch. Just put my name on for one. Bill ! I give you credit. Your Lyrique is a great watch although this first model the Geneva Stripes don’t line up (that would drive me crazy). You should be proud though !!!! You managed to build a real special watch with a lot of people. Incredible and well done !! Really amazing !! Nice video mate !! 🥃
Movement are well designed: 1) For ETA & other hand winding movement, the crown will resist and bounce back once the spring barrel is fully wind due to larger tooth wheel. Agenhor is using small tooth wheel to wind the spring barrel, hence the gap between the tooth wheel and click spring are small. Once it is fully wind, the crown will STOP you from winding, there is no bounce back feeling from the crown. This give the hand winding experience. 2) All the wheels have special finishing, AgenEse has special design, other brass wheels have special reflection.
Are you going to do develop another watch anytime soon? If so, how can I participate? Maybe you could do a video on that topic. There are many people interested, I think.
Hi Greg, we won't be developing another watch until around September or October-The best place to get an idea of our projects is on the FB page, "Pure Horology." Take care, Bill
Someone sent me the link to the lounge and the project group. I've requested to join both. Would love to chat and to contribute to the design and, hopefully, the purchase of v2 if the design is appropriate! Thanks, such a cool project and I would LOVE to be a part of it. Amazing idea.
Hi Bill. In relation to fine watchmaking, there is a video on youtube with Kari Voutilainen. He makes cases (Lyriq) and dials. Link = ua-cam.com/video/sLfYoMfLquM/v-deo.html, Best regards Mogens.
Hi Bill, good video. However, I disagree with you in one thing. You said the participants want high quality Swiss watches but we can't afford it. Some of us can afford it but we love watches so much that we want to make our own very high quality watches because it is our hobby. (1) This is true and (2) it sounds a lot better. Can't afford it makes us and the project sound so cheap.
Eugene, if you multiply the mfg. cost of a watch by 5 or 10 times, you get the MSRP price, and that includes all of the elements of a watch company staying in business; by focusing only on the manufacture, there's nothing cheap-avoiding payment for advertising, marketing, warehousing, promotion and dealer mark-up is not being cheap. There's another word that best describes it. Take care, Bill
No Dan, we're not a micro-brand and have no plans of being one. Guys with micro-brands expect to make a profit; Lyrique does not. Our profit is in the watches themselves. Take care, Bill

Bill I just love the way you put it… ‘just want the Swiss watch industry know how much we love them’… but your face said it all 😂
Cesar, it always gives me away... Take care, Bill
As someone who owns the No. 1, watching that end movie is just amazing!! Love seeing clips of how the watch was made.
Couldn't agree more Wangang! That watch is very special. Take care, Bill
Well done Bill. What a fantastic presentation!
Best regards, Brian

You cannot stop smiling when you talk about the Étude, little wonder. It is a masterpiece in the old fashioned sense of that word.

Incredible accomplishment to you and the group! Beautiful video clip, you can probably make a documentary out of this experience.
What a wonderful project, the results speak for themselves the watch is beautiful and it's not a copy of nothing else.
Amazing! A watch made for watch connoisseurs. Looking forward to Etude No.2🎉

That was done on purpose Tim. I was asked, "What would drive Tim right up the wall?" ... I think we nailed it. Take care, Bill
Nice Video, Bill!
Nice watch Bill. I'm glad you did the project and could help some people get a high horological watch. I bet it was fun.
Regards,
Chris

First time I'd seen the new video. Thanks

Wow! 1.5 million Swiss Francs? Very impressive Dr.!
The responsibility is not fun at all, Javi ... but we frugal souls need to band together ... there's just a lot of us! Take care, Bill
Impressive, Bill !!
on the list for No 2, still hoping an opportunity opens to acquire such a timepiece.
Great video of the behind the scenes! Absolutely loved it. Any news for those of us who expressed interested but were put on the stand by list?
Bill - who should I connect with to participate in the purchase and support of the newest Lyrique?

Hi Bill. In relation to fine watchmaking, there is a video on youtube with Kari Voutilainen. He makes cases (Lyriq) and dials. Link = ua-cam.com/video/sLfYoMfLquM/v-deo.html, Best regards Mogens.
Yep Mogens, Complémine will be doing our dial and hands on Étude #2. Take care, Bill

@@watchartsci You are right.
Maybe the birth of a microbrand?
No Dan, we're not a micro-brand and have no plans of being one. Guys with micro-brands expect to make a profit; Lyrique does not. Our profit is in the watches themselves. Take care, Bill
