- Happy thanksgiving 🦃 UA-cam! Ive been so busy with work but still trying to get out videos when I can for y’all. This represents the past three outings over the last almost 3 weeks. Killer oldie ratio for only going out 3 times. Let me know what y’all think about the last point in the video. I believe it to be a Brunswick but did have me fooled for and older point type.
Killer Finds Ben, Thanks For Sharing, Happy Thanksgiving!!!🏹🦃
Same to y’all brother! Thank you 🙏🏻
I see im not the only one to upload a thanksgiving video 👌🏼
Sweet finds man, nice material too!
Awesome man , fantastic points man , great saves . Looking like a beaver lake to me bro , but feeln like older greenbrier point . Could go either way . Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for sharing with us .
Thank you Warren and happy thanksgiving 🦃 this is a very unusual find for the area but doesn’t mean a modern guy wasn’t there. Usually the only things found there are early archaic or older. Either way thanks for your opinion and I hope your sitting there as full as I am. Haha night buddy
Lots to be thankful for!! Awesome finds. Happy Thanksgiving.
Agreed 👍🏻 hope y’all had a great 🦃 day. Goodnight 💤🌙
Plenty to be thankful for, lots of action, well done, love that concave base point, keep em coming 😎😎😎
Gracias mi amigo! 🙏🏻💤
Heck yeah man! Great finds! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you brother! Good hearing from ya and always I’m honored by your comment. Hope y’all are still fat and happy from thanksgiving. Lord knows I am haha night buddy

Sure nuff did bud....✌
Wow Ben! Another smoker. Congrats Brother!
Thank you my friend… happy thanksgiving to you and yours 🦃
Awesome last point, heck even your brokes are killer. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 GL next hunt 👍
Thank you brother 🙏🏻 what’s your opinion on the last point found in the video. I believe it could be what’s called a Conerly… lol either way I’d love to hear your thoughts on the subject.
@@benallen7793 I greatly appreciate your asking for my opinion though I don't think it's worth spit due to my lack of experience even though I've spent some considerable time researching but looking at pictures just doesn't come close to hands on evaluation. So with that said and after looking over examples you mentioned and the related types listed in Overstreet I think it's a Pike County, although it doesn't belong in your area 🤔 according to the Book.
Very nice old points! Thanks for sharing!
The last one is up for debate and the more I dig and dig it could be what’s called a Conerly. Beaver lake or Conerly and honestly it doesn’t matter. I just like putting faces to names ya know. Either way I’m glad you enjoyed the video and hope y’all had a great thanksgiving my friend. ✌🏻💤
Killer finds buddy, those are definitely some oldies. Congrats and good luck
Thank you brother. Your opinion means a lot to me cause you have very similar sites and types. The last one has me second guessing it a little. It may be a beaver lake or more likely it’s a cheap imitation. Only quads beaver lakes copenas and conerlys look like this. It’s middle archaic at the most modern and honestly it doesn’t matter. I just enjoying putting a name to the face ya know. Thanks for commenting and goodnight my friend
I hear you, buddy. That can be hard some times.
Great finds. Beautiful materials 😊. Best wishes
Thank you very much. Take care ✌🏻
Killer , I love big sandys and I can not lie lol, I'll leave the identification you on that last one but it is a killer one either way, I wish we would get some hard rains , thanks for sharing and happy hunting brother.
Haha I bet you do… like the big Sandy beast you pulled in your last video. Its a big Sandy broad base you dick haha/ lucky dog… we need this rain coming in something fierce. Hopefully she lets go and dumps it down on us. If not time will reveal… it just means more trips are in order and you can’t cancel out any wash lines yet. Best of luck brother and thanks for commenting
Grinning, gobble gobble. Happy days brother.
Thank you brother 🙏🏻 What’s your opinion of the last point found?
Good day right there!!! Nice!
🙏🏻🦃🥃
Awesome hunt Ben! 👍👍👍
Thank you brother and sista! Hope y’all had a very happy thanksgiving 🦃
@@benallen7793 we did and hope you have a great Christmas and new year buddy 👍👍👍
I would lean Beaver Lake. Sweet!
Thanks paul… this one’s a tough one to say. It was found where the most modern point found was a kirk stemmed. Everything else has been early archaic or trans paleo. Very happy to pick it up whatever it is.. I greatly appreciate your comment and have a great night my friend.
Sweet beaver lake 👍way to go brother 🏹
Thank you my friend
The last point looks like a Beaver Lake to me! Not familiar with Brunswick points, but it doesn't look like the drawings in my reference book. (American Arrowheads by Wm Jack Hranicky)
Ben killer saves bro. Tell me on the edges your looking do you think those points are tumbling out of a bank and rolling down to the waters edge? Or do you think they are close to the waters edge and the water erodes the soil exposing them? Or both? I hunt the Ohio near me with some rocky shores some higher banks and I’m trying to get other opinions. Thanks
As far as somewhere like Nashville Tennessee, is it worth getting on the river around here and just pulling over to the side where there is a bunch of sand and rocks? I have been thinking about doing this for a while.
Never hesitate and always follow those feelings. My best sites are the most overlooked. Also the old sites don’t show much. If your seeing flakes everywhere it’s very modern. Fire rock and a couple flakes means an old old campsite. People miss the mark big time and usually overlap themselves checking more modern sites because of the sign present. Never hesitate to get off the beaten path. The oldies were pretty far removed from the main channel. Best of luck brother you sound tuned in you just need to listen to that feeling more
Id go with Beaver Lake. Its definately an oldie.
Thank you Tim. Let me ask you this… have you ever heard of a Conerly? I have found other Conerlys in the general area. I may do another video on the beaver lakes I’ve found which are all broken and what I believe to possibly be a Conerly. Only beaver lakes quads copenas and Conerlys have this appearance. If I can pick your brain one more time it would be my honor. Thanks for your comment man. It’s well respected. 💤
@@benallen7793 Conerlys have a narrow base compared with the width of the blade . They are ground on both sides from the base up 1/4th to 1/2 inch up the blade from the base. These at one time were called Lively points. Middle Arcchaic I believe. Most Copena lanceloates have and expanding base alittle bit.
@@benallen7793 Also.I forgot to mention .Conerlys are believe to have evolved from the Guilford stemmed points
