- Here is the first installment of our 1962 Avion T-20 Camper. The plan was to just fix a few things on it and try it out, but it looks like a complete restoration is about to take place. This video is a walk about inside and out to give you a good idea of what we are starting with.
We just bought a 1984 30 ft.
It’s so awesome - all original interior - as if it’s been under cover for nearly 40 years. Everything works - awnings in great shape. Love it. I will enjoying watching your redo.
The exterior looks to be in great shape. Avion made the finest campers.
I’m quite jealous of your front sofa! My 1962 T20 has a dinette. Wanna trade?!

I ended up selling the Avion. The buyer since sold it again and it's undergoing a complete restoration including a new frame. Thanks for watching!

@@AdsRods we are still working on it, we have 2 T-28s and we just finished one of them so we can go to the Avion Texas Rally in March, so we started on this one again a couple weeks ago. But this one wasn’t big enough for our Family to take to Texas with 2 teenagers

I believe these campers were made in Benton Harbor Michigan. This on is 20 feet which is where the name T-20 comes from. I'm looking forward to it being finished!!
@@AdsRods I thought it said Benton Harbor but I wasn't sure! I used to live opposite in St Joseph in the late 80's. Didn't know they made trailers there. Thanks for getting back to me. Really enjoyed your vid. I've always admired people who were skilled etc. 👍
