OMG. If you own a Porsche DO NOT follow this guide, unless you want broken parts, damaged trim and a faulty instrument cluster. In 45 years of working on cars and as a professionally trained Mech Engineer, I've never seen such a rough job: No care, no plastic pry tools and MF cloths to protect trim or prevent indentations, too much force used and not disconnecting the battery, which can lead to voltage spikes - potentially ruining a Porsche cluster costing ££££s. Unless it was his own vehicle (which I very much doubt), I pity the poor owner. If you own a Porsche, take it to a professional.
if you own a macan, DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE. Although it shows the general principle here, the method to remove the air vents is nowhere near like this. you need a special tool from VW (or you can make your own) to pull the vents from their backs.
