Starsky and Hutch is the best cop series of the world. The beautiful friendship between Starsky and Hutch touch the heart of the people. Amazing episodes, fantastic show. David and Paul are gorgeous and great friends in real life like a series. I love these guys forever. Thanks Paul and David!
I bumped into David Soul, on Shaftesbury Avenue, here in London . I asked him why would anyone give up the blue skys, and warm, sunny weather of LA, for rainy, grey , London? He looked up at the sky then back at me and laughed.
I finally met my childhood TV idol, PMG, on the set of Grace and Frankie when I worked Season 5. What an absolutely delightful person he is. I've met a lot of celebrities in my 35 years here in Hollywood, and he ranks as one of the best when it comes to fan/star interactions.
Starsky and Hutch was great tv in the 70s! I can remember rushing home on a Friday night from the Scouts to watch it! Loved it so much I've got 2 cocker spaniels, a black one called Starsky and a cream one called Hutch and everybody thinks there names are cool! Great actors and there will never be a cop show as good ever again!
Absolutely right ! There's two things that bother me though. First they didn't have but 4 seasons while others have 5 r 6 even more. Secondly they were on tv all week on get tv they were only on there one time every day n the others were on there twice. Cozi had them on their channel on Saturdays twice. My question is why were they taken off entirely ? They were on top all the way thru.
Excellent 👍👍 Definitely still one of my favorites today!!! So many great episodes!! The Specialist S2 and The Psychic S2. Hutch running phone to phone with Starsky on his bike in tow. Brilliant 👍👍

I'm right there with you, Sherri. This is on the top of my list of my all tine favorite shows. And I'm not embarrassed to admit that i am old enough to remember watching ORIGINAL airings of the show. I was about to write thst i dont recall thw show airing Wednesdays at 10pm but now i think of it i actually do. Survival & The Plague (Pts 1 & 2) -- Hutch is dying and Starsky moves Heaven & Earth to make sure it doesn't happen and my favorite episode of this show (and one of my top ten episodes of any TV show Ever!) Sweet Revenge -- Starsky does die --- for two minutes --- and Hutch is very, very macho in his righteous revenge. PMG directed this episode and like all the others he helmed, he shows he had a real obsession with Soul's face and body. So I agree with you, Sherri and with what another commenter said, You can't recreate an original. This show was lightening in a bottle.

One of my early memories of being an infant was being at school and everyone getting a present by father Christmas 🎅, I opened the wrapping to find a little Corgi Starsky and Hutch car..kept me happy for hours
The movie was straight up comedy, unlike the show. I would have rather seen something closer to what the show was, serious moments sprinkled with comedy.
While the movie didn't have the original Starski and Hutch in the movie all the way through. I thought it was really cool that they showed up and showed the original car. It wasn't box office but it did brought back great memories.
