Hey all! I know not all of these products will be interesting to everyone, so I added the time codes for chapter markers on the timeline. Do check out the HOTAS and ASUS sections, if for no other reason than the very excellent Flight Simulator footage! Thanks for watching!
@@burakdemirh You will! I have so many devices in the backlog. But there have been a few new releases recently that have been "Fun" so it's been tough to get back to WPWF! Soon. :)
MrMobile [Michael Fisher] Watching you do gaming content feels refreshing! I know you're mostly focused on cell phones, but do consider doing more gaming coverage if you have the time!
The mini-documentary format of your videos make them one of a kind. You tell a story of the devices you review, which makes these reviews effective and worthwhile. No UA-camr can successfully replicate this style. You deserve 10 million subs Sir.
I always appreciate the disclaimer at the end of the video - it's easy to forget how important trust can be with tech reviewers so the fact that Michael puts it in every video is really awesome, and respectable
I'm excited to start making them again! Thing is, there are a lot of NEW phones on my desk that are "fun" ... so I've had to delay the next episode a little bit. Thanks for your patience!
This is the one of a kind content I love: personable, quirky, and a ton of fun! You deserve those one million subscribers! Wishing you are doing well and safe during this time. ❤

@@xureality LGR(Lazy Game Reviews) got this running at good frame rates on 3 15in SVGA CRT Displays, so yeah this is a simulator where most people will have to turn the resolution down to 720p - 1080p to get smooth 60fps or above.
@@CommodoreFan64 saw that video ;) 3072x768 has under a third of the pixel count of 4k (2.4 vs 8.3 million pixels. For reference a 1080p screen has 2.07 million pixels) and he's on a desktop GPU so he can turn it up.
As much as i love your content, you should really pull back the graphics settings a bit, cause saying the gaming laptop is plenty fast while playing at 25 fps is a bit counterintuitive.
Yeah, couple things there: first, the screen recorder seems to have impacted the frame rate, so what you're seeing in some of those caps is worse than it actually was. Secondly, it's inconsistent: I was getting pretty low framerates in Norfolk at low altitudes, but very good framerates in Sydney at the same flight level (and graphics settings). I'm still figuring it out. The laptop seems plenty capable though.

The 2 best investments I made for charging were a beefy (at the time) 60W 5 USB-A port charger, so I can charge all my USB devices in one spot, and a nice GaN charger (mine is the slim Anker model with 45W output) for my Surface Laptop, ditching the bulky charger it came with.
I was looking forward to this and the Warthog especially! Glad you let me know about the Virpil twist rudder not working on the Warthog base, I was close to buying one because I don't want to dish out on the pedals, but looks like I'll be doing the same.
Absolutely. Wish I'd done more research there. Apparently Virpil and also brands like VKB offer bases with twist inputs. r/hotas is a great resource for learning more.
Hey Michael, if you like space sims, I still hold that one of the best ones ever made was Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos. It's available on GOG for like $5 now. The only downside is that it doesn't have any in-game joystick mapping, you have to do it in a .ini file, but it's got a great story and GREAT gameplay/universe. Also some fun mods.
Love your videos Michael! I had to laugh at your flight simulator section. The nerd and kid in me wanted to play. $900+ for that joystick setup is high, but it looks like quality stuff. Debating a similar setup or opting for the PS5. I'm not a fan of the PS5 design though.
