This explains it perfectly. I've watched many other tech EDC videos but they're all just TechTubers emptying their bags Infront of a camera. This was great as it showed everything in use.
Still baffles me how you can make any subject into one of the best videos this site has been graced with... Every time I see you upload something I click it immediately knowing the next few minutes are gonna be entertaining. Please keep going and keep up these amazing videos!
You should totally do a video about what it's like to be reviewing multiple devices at once. Like what makes you think "I should pull out this phone and see how it handles this situation" or what it's like taking the same photo 3 times with 3 different phones out in public thinking people are looking at you funny
At the end you said thanks for watching but I didn't watch anything! This was an experience my brother! Really appreciate your hard work and dedication to keep us informed and entertained in a fun and artistic style!😎
Seeing some Meze headphones plugged into an iPod can't help but make me think of a certain Australian haha Loved this look into the tech bag! The Marshalls caught my eye, though admittedly my interest lies more in their guitar amplifiers.
We are such opposites in what devices we enjoy using and why and for that reason I can’t really rely on your reviews but I still enjoy watching your content because it’s so well put together! So thanks for that!
Absolutely no replacement for experience in any job. These thirteen minutes was better told than any movie released recently. Fantastic job MrMobile. Lots of Love and immense respect.
At 10:50 you still have the on-screen keyboard showing despite using the BT keyboard. I'm sure you already know, but for those looking at that and thinking, "why?" Go into settings, search for "physical keyboard," and toggle off "show on-screen keyboard when physical keyboard connected." Enjoy your reclaimed screen real estate.
man you are so damn unique, I just love your videos and thoughts, the way you see and show things, this whole perspective touched with nostalgia, what a time machine that with the present remembers the past and travels to the future

Just discovered you & I love you Michael! The love isn’t healthy... but honestly though; the way you talk, film, inform, captures every angle etc like you are the best... THE BEST!
What a great way to showcase your edc with a real road trip amd actual use of the stuff, great scenery and locations with a touch of personal history, simply awesome. Well done
I love your videos Michael , they have a quality , a sound , that make my phone warm up and use its true potential , thanks for such good videos , your reviews are the best , I follow you since your time at poquet now , when I watched reviews of phones like Motorola Atrix etc etc . I simply enjoy every time you upload new content, excellent work, I also understand when you talk about the golden age where we dream of products like the ones that exist today, I understand why it happened to me, sorry the comment was lengthened. Greetings from Buenos Aires .
Fantastic vid as always! I love how close we've come to meeting twice now; once when I lived in Asheville, and now you were within 30min of where I live now when you hit up Durham! A couple thoughts for you: 1)That SanDisk Dual Drive I saw you rocking on your Mac--used to own one...until it literally fell apart. You should check out the all-metal SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe. It's way sturdier than either of the older two iterations of dual drives by Sandisk, and it still packs the versatility of USB A/C ends. 2)On your Fold 3, you can disable the on-screen keyboard when you connect your Bluetooth one in Settings>General Management>Physical Keyboard>Show On-screen keyboard. Somehow, I bet you know this and have a reason for keeping it as-is. Anyhow, love your vids, keep it up! -A fellow tech&Trek fan
One: people are amazing and beautiful. It is SO WONDERFUL to be out and interacting with the world after the past two years. Two: I did not expect to be this entertained by an Everyday Carry video! Your pocket portables ported prodigiously, prominently porpoising past pompousness (possibly). Alliterations aside, thank you for sharing. I look forward to future travels myself, and to figuring out what my everyday carry will be for those adventures. Stay mobile? I think I need to get mobile again. 😊
Tylor's voice and the way he talks is so unique, once I was watching a video about a folding knife that I am interested in and I notices that the voice of this youtuber is very familiar, after some digging I realized that this was Taylor from the old days of pocketnow. I like this guy a lot.
I got my foldable bluetooth keyboard (which also has a very mediocre trackpad) when I bought a new laptop, relegated my Chromebook to being the primary media portal for my tv and needed something that would cross the room without draping a wire. And because I thought if/when I start getting back out I'd be able to use it to also type on my phone or a tablet while sitting in a library or some similar place. It's definitely got its problems (which happens when you look for inexpensive solutions) but it's good enough that I think it'll hold up in more mobile situations. And there is something aesthetically pleasing about it when it's all closed up.
Once again great video Micheal....I been watching for a few years now and you are my favorite UA-camr. P.s into the fold is kool but I can't sit still just waiting for the next episode of when phones were fun.
Great video. Your points on the battery life on the M1 MacBooks can’t be emphasized enough. I have forgotten to charge my air for 2-3 days in a row with university every day and still been totally fine, and when you do charge it…10 minutes can get you over an hour or more. It’s a massive anxiety just gone. My favorite piece of tech in years.
Must have just missed you in Warrenton when I was in town last week. If you ever pass through Virginia again, stop through Harrisonburg. We have a nice little town and I work for a brewery that will get you taken care of for your beer needs 🍺
Maaaan, another video nailed so well. It's a blessing and a curse being your fan and a fan of your content. The blessing is I get to watch and thoroughly enjoy your stuff. The curse is I feel I'm waiting too long for my next hit of the Captain's Content (I call it this). I do mean it as a joke obviously, it takes time and effort to make something this awesome and you have a life too I know :-). Just can't wait for it 🖖 well done on another fantastic video.
I have a good suggestion for another topic: In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have some sort of survival bag with tech that you'd have in those situations? A good survival/tech bug-out bag would be nice :)
You gotta try the Marshal Major IV On-Ear headphones. Never thought I'd use or promote an on-ear type, but they are great. The BT is only SBC but they really have it tuned in with the 40mm drivers. Super great on the move from spot to spot, not activities. The added bonus for me is they can be wired, and I use the EarStudio ES100 MK2-24bit Portable High-Resolution Bluetooth Receiver/USB DAC/Headphone Amp with LDAC, and they really bloom!
I’ve been following you since forever. I’ve loved mobile tech since you were In diapers- I have to say, this video, storyline, editing and coverage of truly living life “mobile” was one of your best videos ever. I hope you make a million dollars a year man- well done ! If I was Half as talented as you I’d like to have my own mobile channel “Mr. Old Mobile “ 😂
Whoa dude you were in Warrenton?! That's so crazy, I live in the next county over in Culpeper. Going to Warrenton tonight actually. Didn't realize central VA and NoVa had so many techtubers!
I'd love to see you cover affordable tech. Right now I'm watching your videos on a Fire tablet with the Play store installed, and a pair of Tozu T12 earbuds. Total cost: less than $100. I'm also still using a Samsung Galaxy S7, because of the expandable memory. Besides a better camera, I can't see that I'm missing much.
Oh, gosh, great point! I was so sad when my S7's camera failed, and it started boot-looping last year. And I have a Fire Tablet, too! It would be nice for tech UA-camrs to make more content for budget-minded folks. Not everyone can afford a Garmin smart watch or screen replacement on a foldable. I wish I had a sponsor that would let me rent a Tesla for free. It sure is fun to look at the shiny stuff, though.
Haha you could actually apply for an iron man casting considering dr strange 2 multiverse rumours of tom cruise playing evil alternate dimension iron man
I've had mixed results with foldable bluetooth keyboards, but paying a bit more, into the $60+ range can get some truly reliable keyboards that make mobile typing and productivity just wonderful.

His reviews are always on point and very well balanced, you never get bored watching his uploads. I’ve been a fan since his Pocketnow days.
Mr Mobile is a born UA-camr. UA-cam was made for Mr Mobile.
This EDC video is waaay different from others, damn, the storytelling and the cinematic shots are sick. Very MrMobile-ish, amazing.
Agreed, these are the kind of videos that really distinguish Michael as the best in the business.
the best, much much more effort
This was the best “what’s in my bag” video and it’s not even close. Well done.
You should totally do a video about what it's like to be reviewing multiple devices at once. Like what makes you think "I should pull out this phone and see how it handles this situation" or what it's like taking the same photo 3 times with 3 different phones out in public thinking people are looking at you funny
I would watch the hell out of a video like this!
As a person that likes adventures and traveling, I've always enjoyed your road trip videos.

The sheer amount of work being put in this video is baffling. Crafmanship at its best. Fav youtuber for a reason
You are the reason why I started watching tech videos. Amazing, unique approach to the “what’s in my bag” video concept. Great work!
Maybe revisiting whether the pop up camera was a good idea could be a cool topic.
Or maybe whether buying budget phones over flagships is worth it.
