"Grow Your Own Food" Program Reaches 4,000 Kids in DuPage County Schools

The DuPage County Farm Bureau, in collaboration with COD's Horticulture Program, has launched an educational initiative, "Grow Your Own Food," aimed at teaching fourth grade students in DuPage County about food production and gardening. This spring, the program has been implemented in more than 60 elementary schools, offering students a free, hands-on lesson that covers essential gardening skills, including food production and transplanting.
